Skip out on the Chicken Milanese, no sauce. Tastes like chicken tenders. The Serafina burger is a must!

Had the foccacia for appetizer, farfalle limonelli, and fried calamari. Foccacia bread was oven roasted and turned out to be perfectly crispy. Calamari was crunchy and enough seasoning. The bow tie pasta was creamy and comforting. Overall everything was good, but it’s a little pricey. Also was not told that the foccacia was not complimentary (you usually get bread).

Nice warm welcome and we settled comfortably into our seats. Service was prompt and efficient. There were specials available but we weren't told about them until a nearby table was hearing about them - one of them I would have ordered as it sounded delicious. My partner ordered a very well cooked pasta (due to recent dental issues) and they exceeded expectations and delivered him a memorable meal. I ordered the branzino standard menu item which was perfectly cooked accompanied by asparagus, fingerlings and cherry tomatoes - also delicious. It was then that someone came and asked us to move the table to squeeze in arriving guests nearby. So our tables was moved left, then right and then basically back to its original position!! It definitely interrupted our meal half way through and spoiled everything. No apology or thanks for accommodating this silly request. We quickly order a shared dessert and left. The moment was spoiled. If not for that, we would have given you five stars.

Serafina has been a reliable Manhattan choice for decades. The menu is standardized across multiple locations, though prices vary allowing for the vagaries of real estate values. In the past year I dined at their Bway and 105th Street location several times, and was always well pleased. Yesterday January 20, 2026, I was one of a party of four to dine at the 61 Street location. Our able server inquired about food allergies, and took my intolerance for tree nuts with utmost seriousness. Between Rigatoni with meat sauce and Caesar salad I didn't think there were any worries, but he dutifully returned to our table with two exceptions. "Nutmeg" he reported, was used in the meat sauce, but this is not a tree nut. "Pine nuts" were used in the Caesar dressing, so a delightful lemon vinaigrette was offered instead. The rigatoni positively sparkled. Perhaps it was that hint of nutmeg, but it was delightful for whatever reason. I will certainly be returning to this location as soon as the opportunity arises.
Mateo was so nice and attentive!!! We have a very nice time!

My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience in this restaurant . Everything was delicious!
We had an excellent dinner and dessert before our show at 59 E 59th Street. This is a great place to go before the shows.
Mateo is really great. He provided us good service which compliments the good food. Me and my wife had a really great time.

Excellent attentive service. Prices are ok, food is very good. Tiramisu was the best i ever had. The short rib dish was very very good. The old fashioned drink was made well.

Our table got the RAVIOLI AI PORCINI and RAVIOLI DEGLI INNAMORATI. Absolutely delicious! Very nice atmosphere. Biggest complaint would be the service. The only one who really seemed to be working was the gentleman clearing tables. Rest of the staff was standing around. Server didn’t check on table or ask if would like another drink. He spent more time talking to staff instead of tending tables. Table beside us had to motion waiter down for check as they had been waiting for some time. We asked for the dessert menu and it was 15 minutes before he returned so we just got our check and left. He, and who appeared to be a manager, stood around chitchatting most of the time we were there. If you don’t mind slow service then you should be fine.
