It's a restaurant that I always love to come to. The taste is incredible, but the service at which Murray Hill branch is very bad. The waiters are not interested. You wait a long time to order.

Excellent food

The food was good and it came out fast. But other than that it's pretty disappointing. All the servers looked miserable. It could have been our server's first day, she was so nervous. The only person who smiled was the guy who cleared the table. No bread, no salad, just the entree, which seems strange for a nice restaurant. Even olive garden gives you better. Dessert was not offered. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. Definitely not impressed.

Serafina or McDonald’s. Food arrived in 5 mins upon placing the order.Thought pasta took 8/9 mins to cook. Also food arrived before wine and bread. Server in such a hurry to clear up the table that he asked us if we were done while we were still eating. What we thought would be a great evening was a terrible experience. We were done with our so called fine dine Italian dinner in 1/2 hour.

The side salad came out the same time as the meals; 2 chicken parmesans were ordered and only 1 came out. We decided to cancel the second one since the one delivered was so large. Even with those hiccups, the food tasted good.

I picked this restaurant from Google maps, the food was excellent and the girl looking after us was very nice and friendly. All in all a great place to have a good Italian meal.

We had dinner on Friday night. We ordered a starter, gnocchi and salad. The dishes were simply delicious and the dessert - perfect!! We will definitely return to the restaurant next time we visit the city.

Server Alonso H, demands higher tip as ‘New York’ Law says 20% tipping and I used Google Pay for payment and not a preset Tip on Toast. In any case he was nasty and I paid another $20 in cash over and above the $20 tip by GPay.

Worst service, I been to 3 different serafina, and the service here is the worst. First of all the didn’t service any bread until 25min after ordering only after asking which was stale and they didn’t even pour the olive oil into a tray like usual and just gave the whole bottle. Once the food came which was smaller size than normal at a higher price, they didn’t even offer to put some Parmesan which is always a norm here. Overall would recommend the food but not this location.

Bartender Luis and Manager Seth and co are so lovely and welcoming. This place is a rare gem of food and wine in midtown manhattan. Literally any type of crudo, salad, pasta, and pizza you could want done to the highest quality.

Luis gave amazing service. He was very attentive and made me aware of the specials as well as the deserts. Additionally the drinks he made for me were amazing. This location is lucky to have him. The food was great but the experience was made better because of Luis’ service. Love this place!
