Love this place and go there whenever I'm in the city. Food is delicious, servings are copious, and prices are very reasonable. Had the Chicken Milanese and a Caesar salad while my daughter had the Pomodoro, all were wonderful. I would have given everything an outstanding rating but there was a hiccup in the kitchen and dishes were delayed quite a bit. Both the waiter and the manager came over, apologized for the delay and comped drinks and dessert. This is the first time there has been a hiccup in my dining experience. I'll definitely be back.

The service was very efficient and friendly. I ordered the Bronzino, which came with asparagus and roasted fingerling potatoes. It was very delicious! Highly recommended. My wife is a strict vegan. She ordered the spaghetti squash, which had mushrooms on top as a bonus. She was very happy with the dish. The atmosphere was beautiful and romantic. It was a great experience!!
Serafina is hands-one of my favorite places to eat. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming and lively without being overwhelming. Its the kind of restaurant that works just as well for a relaxed dinner as it does for a special night out. The food is consistently excellent, fresh and flavorful.. What truly keeps me coming back though, is the overall experience. The service is friendly and attentive and you never feel rushed. Serafina has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable and taken care of while still delivering a high-quality dining experience. It is a place I confidently recommend to friends and family - and one I will happily return to again and again.
We usually find Serafina our go to restaurant - reliable food, service etc. Last night (6:30 reservation) our service was way below par. We did not order drinks, but we ordered one appetizer of a full pasta and an order of crustini. We ordered our meals. Our meals came after a while, nice. But the appetizer and the crustini - didn't show up. WE asked, they said they'd take the mails away and bring them back (ugh! no) and get the appetizer. WE said 'forget it'. Eventually the crustini arrived. We finished our meals and the pasta appetizer arrived! We moved on to dessert - one crepe cake, one decaf cappuccino. The cake came, the cappuccino didn't. We got the check, the coffee arrived
Stopped in on a Tuesday evening around 9pm with my sister for a quick bite. Was greeted rather abruptly and told the restaurant would be closing at 9.30. No problem for us but found it strange that the hostess was trying to have us leave before even seating us.
From being seated it took a few minutes for water and then a few more minutes for menus to arrive. Maybe ten minutes in total for our order to be taken. Took about 30 mins for our food to arrive in total. We split a pasta and salad. I wish I had a picture of the salad. It was incredibly tiny, given it cost $26. I ordered the zuchinni pasta, hoping it would be somewhat like the Stanley Tucci favorite, alas, I doubt it. Was an interesting flavor but I personally found it greasy and underwhelming.
The waiter was fine but didnβt add anything to our experience. I would not waste time here again in the city - too pricey and front staff too snooty for my liking. We ended up leaving around 10ish - no sign the restaurant closing at that pointβ¦
We were excited to try this Serafina because our experience at 777 3rd ave previously had been great - would not return to this location given all Iβve said. The other one is 10x better.
