Been to this rooftop years ago and again recently (June 2025) for the Amalfi pop up. Great service, beautiful decor, great drinks, and a good vibe. We were here very early. So it. Wasn't crowded yet. Tourists go here but if you go early before the crowd it's a nice spot to grab a rooftop drink on a nice day. Hot in the summer however. So, if you don't like heat, come during a cooler day.
The place is really beautiful, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. I ordered pasta (I think it was supposed to be Bolognese), but it tasted more like ketchup with minced meat — like a bad version of sailor-style pasta. We also ordered two Hugo cocktails, and they were so sour it made our eyes water. On top of that, the restaurant was quite dirty inside, which really took away from the overall experience.
This restaurant was the highlight of our New York trip. Our waitress Katherin made our evening! She was attentive, knowledgeable and fun ?
The food was amazing and the price on point for a restaurant of this caliber. It may seem expensive to anyone not familiar with this type of dining. We had the squash appetizer. I had the squash ravioli and my husband had the halibut. The masterpiece though was the Tiramisu, exquisite presentation and amongst the top 3 desserts...
