We stopped by and ordered take out. For online orders, I chose complimentary avocado bacon burger to regular truffle mashroom burger. For an additional almost $5 you get ridiculously small portion of french fries. To me burgers were not tasty, neither were fries, kind of greasy. Overall, the food is edible but I wouldn't go back. On the plus side, the service was fast.

The food is good.The stuff is great, but it's always so cold there during the winter. My food gets cold so fast ! I don't rush to eat, but if I take my time, my food is cold halfway through. PUT THE HEAT ON, ITS FREEZING.

Loved the Shake Shack I went to next to Time Square even if there wasn’t any place to sit but the food was delicious. This time I tried the West Village one and the food was not as flavored and not warm enough. I was also very surprised by the rudeness of a man who came to my table only one minute after I finished my drink to ask me if I ordered anything else to make me understand that I had to leave. To which I responded, quite surprised « I just finished my food », and he kept staring at me like I had to understand something. I have never seen this in my entire life. Asking a customer to leave after only one minute of finishing my drink. And a lot of tables were empty so I doubt the place needed some more space. So rude ! I will never come back to this place.

I was in the dining room and felt quite uncomfortable because there were numerous kids acting up and vaping. Thankfully, Mama Raye stepped in and made them leave. It’s clear to me that she is the only one truly looking out for the dining room area. I’ve experienced this before—when she’s present, she effectively takes charge and maintains order.

Our ordering was quick & easy, but the highlight of our visit was the service. Even though we used a Kiosk, we knew that the staff cared about us because Antar G. helped us out in every way possible. He brought our food to us quickly and kindly, asking if we needed anything else. He got us honey mustard when we asked for it with a smile on his face and made sure we knew we were welcome. He even stopped us from getting up to throw away our trash and did it himself. When he said goodbye to us he remembered our names which was a nice detail, we will definitely have fond memories of the West Village Shake Shack because of Antar G.
