Manger came yelling at us telling me ramen is good when it smelled absolute crap, I ordered something else and then decided I didn’t want it and wanted to leave and Manager SENT THE BILL BEFORE THE ORDER CAME OUT TO MY TABLE. I told them I’m not paying for something I didn’t see or smell and then they didn’t want me to leave without paying a fee. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE DISGUSTING MANAGEMENT, SERVICE, FOOD, DONT go here unless you got money to throw away or like disgusting food and want to get yelled at by the owners.

I used to come here for their delicious handmade fried dumplings. Now it is 27 dollars for 10 AND they were store- bought frozen dumplings. Terrible. The decor was also terrible and basic - it used to be nicer.. Waitress was polite, though. What happened??

BIG swing and a miss at this place.
Our server was pleasant and that’s where the positives end.
Place feels old and tired. Slight damp/wet smell throughout.
As many others have said, this place is WAY overpriced. We ordered a $20 combo meal, edamame, an egg drop soup, a beer, and a coke. $86 with the *included* 20% tip.
To top it off the fried rice & sesame chicken we ordered (a basic dish!) was flavorless.
Live and learn.
Won’t come back and would not recommend.

This place is a big cheat !
These guys add tips according to them.
We were 3 guys and they charged us gratuity of 20% on r final bill without even asking us . As per the law gratuity can only be charged for a table of 5 and above . These guys see if you are drunk on the table and they add in the tips quietly . Never coming back ever and people please do not go to this place , they over charge on foood too . They are thief’s !

🇺🇸New York · Late Night Asian Food Shanghai Mong Shanghai Dream
We all couldn't make an appointment together, so we had to come together for supper in the middle of the night. After searching for open restaurants, this one was the one close to us. It's open until 5 in the morning. It's an Asian restaurant opened by Koreans. Looking at the name, I thought Shanghainese food 🤣🤣🤣 means that Korean food is okay. Other Asian-style dishes are not good and are not as good as Chinese food made by foreigners. 😫 It proves the saying "It doesn't matter what you eat, who you eat with is the most important" 🥲 What's rare is that in Vancouver, Friends get together in New York

PREDATORY. They charge an automatic 18% tip then ask for another tip after swiping the card.

The food is delicious, I really liked the beef, something is missing in the sesame chicken. There is a very unpleasant smell of old stuff near the toilets and it is time to update the interior if they want to compete with other establishments. But the food is delicious 😋

Prices are OBSCENE,
ramen was made with instant noodles from the dollar store
quality mediocre
quantity of the food is piss poor.
My chicken was just frying dough, my noodles were more like leftover veggies
there was an obligatory 18% tip with extra gratuity expected.

I enjoyed their bulgogi and their noodles with chicken was great. I always enjoy kimchi, so that’s great. I would’ve like more spice in mine but they gave me hot sauce so that was good. My boyfriend got the sesame chicken and fried rice. I tried his it was good too.
Parking: It’s hard to find parking in much of the city, especially this part. If you’re able to take the train, it’s better, if you need to take your car, put it in one of the paid parking lots. Ideally you’ll be doing that if you’ll go to other places in the area as well. It’s just a few blocks from Macy’s.

I ordered Jjam Jja Ramen, and the Jjam Pong was rather tasty, but the Jjamppong was so-so. The shrimp in the Jjamppong were a bit bad, and the squid was a bit soft. Since I ordered wine and was able to enjoy both, I give it an average score :)

Not trustworthy - went late night with friends. They added a dish that we never ordered to the bill. They also automatically include the tip and don’t tell you. It was late and we were drunk so we didn’t notice any of these and tipped them on top of that. Shady place - avoid at all costs

The food is tasteless, the kimchi is very bad, the prices are not so cheap for the quality of food, a bad experience.

I grabbed a pickup order of the jjajangmyeon and jjamppong, and both were delicious! The food was prepared quickly and the service was phenomenal, they threw in a free order of dumplings which was very nice!
