Great food and you can actually get it spicy. Great location for a quick bite before a show.

Went to Silky Kitchen before a show at the Marquis Theatre (it's super close!) and it was such a great find. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the whole place has a clean, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect spot for a pre-show meal—I'll definitely be back!

Loved the place! The food was amazing. They don’t joke about their spicy level, but it was absolutely delicious. Would love to visit again.

This is a convenient place with reasonable prices. The food is quite tasty and generous portions. Beware of their spice level; if you select “hot” is extremely spicy; and I’m a spicy eater. Best to go medium and maybe ask for more spice on the side. They have a lot of customization available for food; but they don’t have a lot of options for chicken dishes. The staff barely speaks; maybe it’s a language barrier. But they don’t give you a cup of water; they claim to only have bottled water. You have to mostly order yourself on the electronic kiosk; it’s relatively easy to order and you go pick it up. It’s sorta like fast food style. The sitting space is generic and limited. If you have a big party everyone should order separate; it would be easier. If you’re looking for fast, casual and good pricing; this is a good spot.

This place doesn’t deserve any tip at all. The service was really bad. I was at a Chinese rice noodle restaurant, and the front desk staff couldn’t speak Chinese—though I’m not sure if they were pretending. What’s even more ridiculous is that after I gave a tip, when I finished eating and left my tray on the table, the staff rudely told me to clear it myself. When I asked how to put it, their attitude was still terrible. With service like this, how can they even expect a tip?

This place knows what customers want. Upon meeting the host, every personnel member displayed notable friendliness. The food and service here deserve five stars. The service was smooth, meals came promptly, and everything was delicious. This restaurant provides reliable results.

Warning to regular customers: They are changing the recipe without notice. Not only was my 'mild' dish intensely spicy, but they've also removed the celery. The food is completely different now, and I couldn't eat it. What's worse is the appalling customer service. The staff I spoke to took zero responsibility and the 20% discount they offered is frankly insulting, as I will never be ordering from here again. A complete failure in both product and service.

Silky offers authentic Chinese dishes in midtown. The food was delicious but can be more spicy than anticipated so order accordingly. It gets busy during lunch but didn't have to wait too long. Would recommend ordering ahead of time to skip the line. The prices are standard ($16-$20) with recent price increases everywhere. Would come again to try the rest of the menu.

Had a terrible experience. I accidentally ordered to the wrong Silky Kitchen (this one), but immediately caught it and called them to let them know of the mistake. I stopped them in time from making/wasting the food. When I asked what the options were for this cancellation, they told me cancellation would not be possible because I ordered from their website (?). They would instead write my name down and I should come up to the midtown location at another time to get my order. I told them I didn't want to travel to midtown to get an order, but I would be happy to take the order from my local Silky where I was trying to order from anyway. They said no, and they would need to call the owner (??). I explained that I am a regular customer who must have ordered at the Brooklyn location close to 50 times. They call me back (which I guess is a small miracle in its self, credit to the manager for that), but still can’t help me.

Won't offer a refund. Won't allow me to transfer the order. Why would you punish a customer who is using your preferred method of online ordering? What a misguided hot mess this management is. Too bad because I really like their food. Big let down from a business I have continuously supported.

Overpriced and not tasty. Tastes like it was from a packet and not homemade

Yummy. It's so satisfying. Decent amount of meat. I could use more noodles actually. Will come again for lunch!
