Smør Bakery is a lovely Scandinavian bakery with a small market in the back offering a selection of treats. Customers recommend the sausage breakfast sandwich with a perfect brioche bun and thick multi-herb green aioli, the cardamom bun that is rich in flavor and not overly sweet, and the AEC in a light and flavorful brioche bun. The salmon focaccia with chive cream cheese was tasty but not as unique. While the cardamom bun could use more cardamom, it is still among the best in NYC. The small space fills up quickly, but the service is great, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, even offering complimentary pastries. Delivery orders are also a hit, with good quality and tasty food.
