We love smile to go. High end fresh delicious. Love all the choices.

Stayed at the freehand and got coffee in the morning at Smile to go and on the 2nd day, the lady taking my order remembered my name. That was really sweet seeing how busy they are.

Bagel came hot and comforting. Coffee is good, well balanced but beans are a little sour to my liking.

Amazing matcha lemonade at a great price point! I paid $5 for a medium, and it was delicious. Highly recommend!
5/5 stars from me!

Good fresh food, but odd having to use plastic utensils - both wasteful and frustrating to eat with.

Really great value cafe in NYC with lovely staff. The coffee is very good, where else can you get scrambled eggs on toast with greens for $11.98? And their lunches are generous with great salad sides. The best!

Ugh, I’ve been coming here periodically for years (work around the corner) and the service is absolutely terrible. All I ever need is a simple coffee and it seems to take forever, people behind me get served before I do (and have more complicated orders). The staff behind the counter always seem completely aloof. Every time I try to give them another chance, I always regret it. Too bad.

Just had an amazing folded egg sandwich. Very friendly and welcoming customer service and a great atmosphere.

Really good cappuccino, served as a 'true' cappuccino with a shot of espresso and the correct amount of milk, may look small but the quality makes up for it. Fantastic pastries too, the apple pastry in particular was amazing with fantastic, flaky pastry and perfect apple filling.

Super fast and friendly service too, perfect for the hotel next door.

There was ample seating and the cafe is connected to the Freehand NY hotel.
I got the Market Plate, which allows us to pick 3 market sides available. Per the staff's rec, I chose the Kale Salad, the Couscous, and Sweet Potatoes with Beets. The food tasted fine/ok. The couscous was pretty good and had a fresh distrust taste - would recommend! Aside from the Sides I chose, they had Carrots and Quinoa as other options.
Super friendly staff and the business is clean and comfortable. For restrooms, you'll be directed to the ones in the Freehand hotel on the 2nd fl. They're very clean and there's a cozy seating area upstairs as well.

Big on vibes, Tiny on portions!

Service and atmosphere? Top-notch. Perfect spot to fake productivity or dive into a book on a Sunday.
The food, though? A masterclass in portion control. I ordered the AVO toast with two extra eggs, and let’s just say those eggs were “fun-sized.” The avocado? A splash, just enough to remind me it exists. Two onion slivers, a mini toast, and a comically large parsley garnish (thanks for the irony, I guess). The cappuccino? Tiny—but hey, maybe that’s their vibe. Lovely staff, but for these portions, I might as well bring my own snacks next time.

We stayed in the hotel next door for a week and therefore went to Smile To Go for breakfast a few times. We were very pleased with the friendly service at the vibe.
