Great steaks and very helpful staff. Our table was a lot of work, so I have to commend them for all they did. Highly recommend.

Old school steakhouse with some of the best steaks in Manhattan. Execution is as close to perfect as you’ll find anywhere. If ever you want a crisp char to a steak whether medium, rare or even blue rare, they know how to do it. It ranks number one on my global steakhouse list.

Great place! My boyfriend (he hates NY) and I traveled from Jersey and he loved it!! We arrived 20 minutes early and staff was kind enough to offer us complementary Prosecco and seat us a few minutes early. The portions were big and you're able to take some home in a nice goody bag. 10/10 food, desert and experience we'll be coming back!!

The weekend wine dinner is an incredible offer! Everything was delicious and Lin was an amazing server, he helped the mood feel very celebratory and fun! We will definitely be coming back to celebrate many more occasions.

We've been coming to this place for years, but it's really changed recently. While the meat was absolutely delicious, the oil the asparagus were cooked in was rancid, so all we could taste when we had them was oil. We were packed into a small room with tons of other people, and so had a very hard time actually hearing our dinner partners. Not as great as other experiences we've had before.

Our small family reunion was made more special at Smith & Wollensky. We had early drinks at the bar, a great table, great service and great food, all of which contributed to a great evening. We had the seafood appetizer for four--incredibly ample, plus entrees and dessert. We were not rushed and had enough time for the family to catch up with one another as we ate our delicious meals.

The service was exquisite and the ambience was perfect for my Anniversary. Portions are pretty big so don't order an app unless you going to stay for a minute or youre really hungry. Bottles of champagne and wine were moderately priced. And the steak is definitely top 5 in NYC for steakhouses.

I had a really good time at Smith and Wollensky. The service was outstanding. I had the seafood bouquet and it was very good. However, I also had the cream spinach that was not good at all. The scallops and the drinks were on point. The staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this place!

Overpriced for what you get. The steak was overcooked and just alright. Would not go back. There are much better steak houses at this price point.

Great steak house with very good cuisine - nice, classic ambience with a large wine list, which also has some best buys for fair money. It is quite loud for European clientele.

Amazing steak! This was one of the best steaks I've had; I loved it. In addition to the food, the service was excellent. The waiter was very quick and attentive. The cocktails tasted good. I recommend trying the cheesecake as well. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to any of my friends.

Excellent statehouse experience. Porterhouse had a vivid and well-defined crust. It went through a conveyor belt, with a high heat impact on both sides for three minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by the cajun ribeye. Hint of spices I would not typically wanna see on a ribeye was refreshing. Refreshing enough for me to do some research on how I can (attempt to) replicate it at home. One big negative is space. There were four of us, and there was very, very little room to maneuver. There was no room whatsoever for the sides.

I have never eaten at the branch in Taiwan, so this is my first time in New York. Overall, the atmosphere is pretty good. The T-bone steak is quite good and the aroma is overflowing as soon as it is served. The price is on the high side, but if you want to experience it once, I still recommend it. The disadvantage is that the service is mediocre (basically no service). Maybe the two Asians like us don't order a lot, so we don't feel much care or detail in the service.
