My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for lunch at the recommendation of a Thai friend. We ordered the grilled marinated pork with coconut sticky rice skewers and the tom yung goong (spicy lemongrass soup with shrimp).
The soup was delicious, and much more filling than we expected. Neither of us liked the marinated pork--I'm not sure if something was off with the dish, or we just didn't like the flavor. When the waitress noticed that we'd only eaten the soup and sticky rice skewers, she took the pork skewers off the bill (despite our protests)--an appreciated touch. The service was great overall and the environment is nice.
We will come back again for the soup and to try other dishes.
We actually live in Isaan, this restaurant’s sad impression of Isaan food does not cut it except for people that do not know better. It started with the microwave heated to death overcooked sticky rice and saggy tasteless somtam. Continued with sugar drenched deep fried mushrooms and than a mango salad with crispy Salmon ( Salmon in Isaan? ) the mango salad was ok but the dish has some funky unidentifiable fish flakes instead of actual Salmon $ 27, super ripoff. The background music was very enjoyable, real Thai Isaan.

Unsure of why this is rated so highly. We were about a year ago now and the portions were small, the food was good but not mindblowing and we left hungry. It is also very casual so just a heads up! Won't be returning and just expensive for the portion size and taste.
