The service and atmosphere is lovely but the food was extremely mediocre! Everything was “fine”. We had a cool table though. All said, it was disappointing.

I had the best lobster mac & cheese ever. My friends loved the steaks. The dining room is beautiful. The wait staff attentive. The candle light on the table is not enough light & diners tried to turn it closer to menu to read menu & candle fell out. I would like enough light to read the menu & see my food. Love the restaurant.

We had the most amazing Caesar salad here and the mac and cheese is also delicious! The wait staff were really friendly and accommodating and they made the best cocktails as well as non-alcoholic mocktails! Will definitely come back here again and recommend it to all our friends.

What you see on social media pages and what is reality, more and more often rarely match!!! Case in point: my burger at & Son which looks amazing in their photos, is “Sous vide” !!!!! a cooking method where food is placed in a vacuum-sealed bag and cooked in a water bath at a precise, constant temperature for an extended period. Not grilled, or broiled, No charbroil, no Smokey flavor, just a bland, slab of meat that was pale and tasteless! The fried egg that was suppose to ooze all over it and infuse it with flavor was a baked, dried out circular yoke reminiscent of the egg breakfast you get at a Dukin Donuts or Starbucks!! This has really shaken me up and now I need to question any social media posting hence forth! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY HERE!

The food was terrible, the mashed potatoes were not good, asparagus comes with like 5 pieces, but the steak I got the filet medium rare and it came back either medium or medium well and was not good at all. One and done for me. Had a wedge salad, it was fine but nothing special.

Beautiful private rooms for celebration 🧚🏽♀️ The steak was my favorite — cooked to the perfect temperature. I’ve already marked this as one of my favorite spots in the city. Got the T bone steak and it was so good. Paired with red wine. There’s a speakeasy on the second floor by the bathroom where you can get a cocktail and lounge around.

I held a private dinner here and the service was exceptional. Chris, Sam, Nick and team went above and beyond to make sure the event went smoothly. Our guests had a wonderful time, the space was intimate and comfortable, and they enjoyed the food.
The cocktail reception space was a hit and the dinner area was hidden behind a bookshelf - it was a fun way to transition the evening.
I highly recommend &Son for a private event and make sure you ask for Chris, Sam, and Nick to be your team.

Overall good experience. We came on a Tuesday so we were able to get the adult happy meal and the girls night, which are also available on Monday. We also added the carbonara mac n cheese. The food is good but not spectacular. The burger tasted good but I found a small piece of bone inside. The salad from the girls night was lightly dressed so we had to ask for more dressing. The carbonara mac was very good maybe the best part of the meal.
Also, I was able to switch the cocktail that comes with the meal to a dirty martini.
Overall it’s a very good deal $25 for a burger/salad, fries and a cocktail. Can’t compete with that.
