Food was quite alright, the staff just wanted us in and out. They could have a few more options, which would help.

Out of stock for multiple items on a Saturday morning… below average service. Coffee and food was good. Make sure to bring card because they don’t accept tap to pay.

The waitstaff makes you feel like a welcome guest, not just a customer. They communicate through flavor rather than promises. My reaction was stunned silence. The workers provided timely attention with polite and accommodating attitudes. A genuinely exceptional experience.

The quality of the food and the speed of which it comes out is top notch. Such an inviting place to hang for brunch. Inside is busy and bright, patio/street seating is perfect for a nice summer day. Highly recommend!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Ricotta pancakes and the burrito. They were delicate, fluffy, the right amount of syrup. The food was terrific and the ambience was on par with the food. However, I think it might have been an off day, but the service was horrible. It took 15 minutes before our server, which may have been the host too, to take our order. He did not check in with us, fill our waters, and forgot two extra requests we had ordered. It was not busy, which made me confused. We had to get another server to get us the check. Again, the food was fantastic and well made. I would go back, but I think the service was just off that day.

So many gluten free options. Hotcakes, banana bread, and folded eggs is a hard to beat 1-2-3 meal.

Closed for a private event but still gave me water while waiting in line for the photo booth! Good to know there’s still good people out there

Edit: while waiting the girl with pony tail hit me with the door, looked me in the eyes and didn’t apologize. Terrible hospitality

My brunch experience at Sonnyboy was mixed. The atmosphere and music are upbeat, but a bit too loud for a morning coffee/breakfast. The café is well decorated, and I appreciate the plants scattered throughout. There are also many fake plants mixed in as well, which adds nice greenery, but are noticeably dusty.
I ordered a cappuccino and shakshuka. The cappuccino was not proportioned correctly with far too much milk and hardly any foam. The Shakshuka was a great portion size, served with two slices of fresh, toasted sourdough. The bread was delicious, but the shakshuka could have been better. I appreciated the spice level, but I found the tomatoes a bit too overpowering and could have been better balanced with more herbs.

Vibey brunch in a cozy cafe with hip ambiance and upbeat background tunes. The music is groovy; I almost want to snap my fingers as I sip my coffee. Some plants sugarcoat the space: the intention is there, but some need more watering. The drip coffee is a dark roast: drinkable and smooth, served in sleek black ceramic ware. Good but not the primary goal of the place: food is. The harissa eggs had the right spice and salad mix (brilliant with the blueberries). Cappuccino could use more foam! Shakshuka could use more herbs and a thicker veggie base. Hanging out here feels like a vibe, and I’m sure it’s worthy coming back at night. AJ, our greeter and server, was great! Drip coffee score: 3.75/5. Everything else score: 4.25/5. Overall score: 4/5.

Checks every box and then some. Food is delicious no matter what you get (but do be sure to get the lemon compote hotcake), servers are cool, there’s street seating. Love this place.
