One of the most incredible omakase experiences I’ve had. Our server was very intentional. She gave a brief description of each piece as she placed it in front of us, and we talked about the flavor profiles. You could tell she truly loved what she did. She was also very kind and friendly.

Matsunori is an excellent sushi restaurant that offers a high-quality dining experience. The menu features a variety of fresh fish, including Otoro, Salmon, Seabream, Jackfish, and Yellowtail, as well as A5 Wagyu and a delightful dessert. The chef's perfectly balanced nigiri is a crowd-pleaser, and the melon with salt and lime zest provides a refreshing finish. The intimate, BYOB setting creates a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere, enhanced by the complimentary Kikusui sake and yuzu sake. Matsunori delivers a no-frills, yet exceptional omakase experience, with the only seating being a small 10-12 person sushi bar. The restaurant is a cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot that allows diners to enjoy the food and chefs on a personal level, with the fresh fish being mind-blowing. Matsunori is definitely worth the visit and is considered better than any Michelin-starred restaurant by some customers.
