Sophie's Cuban Cuisine - Lenox Hill

I never write reviews like this but I had a terrible experience here today. I went to pick up my online ordered food. As I walked to the cash register to ask about it, the lady saw me and before I could even get to the register, she walked away and stalled on the side side eying me pretending I wasn’t there. I stood there confused and the guy working at the back saw everything and came to assist, I asked him and he kindly helped me. The moment I stepped away the lady came back and started talking normally to other customers behind me. All I experienced was weird glare. Not sure if it’s because I am asian but horrible attitude.
I came around somewhere between 12-2 pm.

The pernil is amazing.green hot sauce amazing even though you have to pay for it.White rice is mushy...Food over rated.veggie Medley is zucchini skins 🤣 uber said buy one get one free yet it was $30........make it make sense.

OMG I was looking for parking outside of Sophie's, to go to a hospital appointment & I was like omg a cuban restaurant I had been craving a good Cubano Sandwich for about 5 yrs so I downloaded app & ordered.. by the time it was ready I found a spot.. it was very reasonably priced especially for Manhattan but most of all it was AMAZING... im literally waiting for my next appointment great food , clean environment & nice people

Love the empanadas!!!!! I always get delivery and I love how after a certain amount of orders you can get discounts wich shows that they care about their customers saving a buck.
