My best tip for a wallet-friendly dinner is to reserve at Too Good To Go. For $6.52 (tax included) you get their hearty combo (a protein and 2 sides), an empanada, and their famous green hot sauce…unbeatable value.
Surprised on how good the food was. Had a Cuban sandwich, fresh pork and ham, nicely toasted. Only complaint will be the service. I used the automated screen and had to follow up for my order to be dispatched. Several clients came in after me and ordered with the cashier and their orders were expedited. Other than that great tasting food and good portion.
Edit to reply : I pointed out her race because you needed to know who I was talking about - everyone’s wearing the same thing. And I chose the “make your own option” not any meal - so why couldn’t I choose ANY chicken and two sides ? I was nothing but respectful and polite trying to understand (to answer your confusion about my confusion) and was met with hostility and ignorance. I should have just walked out and regret my decision to purchase anything here.
