I get Sophie’s for lunch at work very often! It’s delicious, inexpensive, and quick. Two empanadas, a side of plantains, and a drink for $10, can’t beat it!! Best deal in Flatiron!!

The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. I am quite picky about how I like my coffee and I gave them instructions to make my coffee soft and with almond milk and they made it delicious, the young man always with a beautiful attitude I recommend that you come to eat here where there is a very pleasant and familiar atmosphere. Also excellent to take away and share a delicious Cuban dinner.

I’ve never ever had a bad experience here, food is always top notch, drinks included. I typically get the salmon with Moro rice, white bean avocado salad and sweet plantains, of course the passion fruit juice. Love love love,

I got chicken and cheese empanada. The chicken was rather somehow flavorless the cheese was better. so I ordered another one with a drink and it seems that the time it took to give me one singular empanada had me thinking they forgot about my order somehow but one eventually they called my number. I grabbed the bag and asked for my drink. They just pointed at the drink area and then the two workers started laughing to each other, which made me feel a little uncomfortable. So it’s safe to say won’t be coming back here again or recommending it. Everyone should try the empanada place two blocks away. It’s really good!

First visit, I really enjoyed my sandwich. This is basically like a Cuban McDonald’s, fast food. Very casual dining kind of atmosphere, very little little charm, but the food was tasty. This is right on a very busy commercial stretch of sixth Avenue and while we were having lunch, a somewhat aggressive homeless man came in demanding money from the customers. Not the establishments fault, but this is what you were going to find in this area with all the mentally ill people out on the streets these days.

Parking: Very busy section of Chelsea/flatiron, I would not drive here during the day

Kid-friendliness: Should be able to find something for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: It appeared to be wheelchair accessible, street level with lots of room inside
