Love this place
Great venue for music.
Nice club to go out. Just mind the staff. The security tried to charge me $70 for entrance, while the event was for free, and the guy standing at the toilet stole $50 from a friend. The owner of the place didn’t take any responsibility for it…
Great time! Great service from the door to the bar! The drinks were not made all that well but at least it was served with a smile. The event we went to was awesome. OSO City is an international DJ that plays literally everything! He is based out of Miami though. He definitely brought out the Miami nightlife on stage with the alien LED dancers and transformer robot lol. It was a little off beat for NYC but the crowd was welcoming! He kept the “set safe by playing all of the hits, which is okay but you’re in NYC baby, LET YOUR CREATIVITY SHINE b/c thats why we are all here! The venue was clean and so were the bathrooms. The sound system and lighting were A1!
The DJ & the music inside was the only positive experience. From start to end having paid for the tickets, the security was rude. Towards the end of the night, they verbally abused us. There was nobody to stop them & they though of themselves above the law. We worried for our safety & had to get out of the place as soon as possible. Will not ever step into this place if i genuinely want to have a good time. Never seen security at other places talk & behave this badly.
So it seems like what I heard after all are true. I wish I read the reviews first before even wasting my time and money this go around. Long story short, don’t know if to call the club racist or the own and white manager racist but the people in the White House is making a lot of people feel bold and that they are above the law. Not only do they not follow the laws when it involves smoking in doors but they don’t follow the American with Disabilities Act (which is a FEDERAL LAW), they allow harassment to prolong, female patrons don’t feel safe in there and some of the workers are surpass rude. Anyways, my bag was on the table, against the wall I was standing right next to it, literally facing it, every 5 minutes a guy kept coming and saying you have to check the bag in it can’t be on the table. Then when I explain to the white bald head guy that my bag have to be in front of me because of my medical situation and past experience I was called out of my name, told that he didn’t care about my medical reason on why my bag is on the table they need it off, I explained I can’t wear my bag on my back because last time in that same club my medication was stolen out of my backpack and they refused to do anything about it, not even look at the cameras to see how, who or when the theft happened, and the bag can’t be worn on the front of me because the strain of the medical devices on the front of my body can put me into cardiac arrest if not a full blow seizure. He basically said “I don’t care either you pay to check your bag in, put your bag on or I will be throw you out of the club, I kept explaining but then not only did he became very rude and highly disrespectful but racist attitude and stereotype that was thrown at me told me who these people really are, I was told “I was the problem, you people are always the problem” and they shove me out, after I just wasted $50 to get in plus over $10 for a sweet drink. I asked for a refund since I paid for something that wasn’t delivered and I was in the establishment for less than an hour before they threw me out, they refused and the police were called. Other law officials were made of the situation and steps are being taken, especially since they broke the law not once but several times. Not only were there a lot of smoking of cigarettes but weed as well which made it worse because now my throat is highly inflamed and in pain. The place was condensed with the second hand smoke residues. The last time I went the experience was completely different, except being robbed. And it’s only because my cousin wanted to go there. On top of that they took my picture without my consent when I was outside of their establishment, in which as a private citizen it isn’t supposed to be done, once someone leave the vicinity of a business they are considered a private citizen as they go about their life and if a citizen say do not take my picture that must be followed. To my fellow minorities go at your own discretion but just be aware of the harassment, crime and consequences you will face wasting your time and money there.
I saw Troy Doherty and it was AMAZING
Came here for the Troy concert, and although the show itself was excellent, the venue is stupidly unfriendly towards people with disabilities or health issues! My wife has a disability where it is difficult for her to stand for an extended period of time without feeling sick and possibly fainting. There was minimal seating, and most of it was already filling up before coming in. So we stood near the back wall, where she could lean and occasionally rest her legs against the ledge leading up to the bar level.
The staff immediately told her that she was not allowed to sit and that she must remain standing at all times! Eventually, being forced to keep on her feet for so long was starting to make her feel sick, so she thought it best to step outside, get some fresh air, sit on the curb, and compose herself.
They do not allow reentry after you leave!
I wouldn't mind if they warned you before you entered the venue, but there was no warning until you saw the sign upon leaving! It also doesn't make sense that they stamp your hand upon going in. What is the purpose of the stamp? It certainly wasn't for the bar, as I was carded when I went up to buy drinks.
What is a person with less than perfect health supposed to do???
That white bartender guy was very rude and even overcharged me for a drink. When I ordered my second drink from a different bartender, it cost less. On the positive side, the security staff were very friendly, and the music was great.
Had a blast

Beware!!! This place is a scam, auto gratuity is added at tables. And when asked for water they want to charge u for a bottle of water and when asked for just a glass was told they dont offer that, thats illegal! The server was also extremely rude. The 3 of us ordered the same thing and 1 came out and 15 minutes later the other 2 came out. Too bad cause its a cool place to dance but the scammy and illegal practices are not okay!
A legendary spot in the city! I went for a 90’s hip hop night, and everything was a total vibe—the sound, the music, the energy. I honestly felt like I was back in 1993, and it was such a good time. They had bar bites and a decent selection of drinks, which made the night even better. I’d definitely return—it was a fun experience, and they host all kinds of different themed nights.
Rude bouncers and closes early on a Friday without a proper warning
The line dancing was a lot of fun. I loved that they took the time in between sets to teach you the dance steps.
It was a Salsa Groove and just a few salsa songs were played... and finished at 10pm I payed more than $20 bucks for that. I was really disappointed about the promotion and the real show
