About Houston Hall

Houston Hall is a casual and cute restaurant located in the West Village of NYC, previously stables for horse and carriages. It features a large beer hall with a rustic, cavernous atmosphere and communal long tables, making it perfect for group gatherings to enjoy drinks and food. The bar has an amazing vibe and a welcoming atmosphere, offering a variety of craft beers under $10 during happy hour, specialty cocktails, and tasty empanadas. The huge screens make it a great spot to watch a game, especially during Boardy Barn Sundays, the famous party from the Hamptons. The space is spacious but can get crowded fast on big game days. Food is typical beer hall fare—salty, unhealthy, delicious—like giant Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst bites, nachos, and the standout chicken sandwich. While the staff is super friendly and service is efficient, it can be a little slow at times, so customers may need to go to the bar themselves. The bathroom is impressively clean, and the atmosphere is lively, making it a solid space for beers, sports, and a good time, whether relaxing or unwinding with friends.

Massive beer hall. Was super fun for the USA World Cup game

Great bar for watching games - spacious, cool, designed for big groups to be comfortable at large tables. And the service is surprisingly good for a place so huge and packed. Really fun for World Cup watching and would recommend (though can be a very white, fratty crowd) but I do have to say that the nachos are quite terrible. And you really can’t expect much of bar food, I know, but I beg of this place to focus less on overdone mounds of toppings (and chickpeas ????) and...read full review

This is a great spot for watching world cup or other sports matches. The screens are huge but not the clearest, but you get great game sound and sometimes a DJ or good music during commercial breaks.

Happy Hour deals are amazing and the food is reallly reallly good for bar type food.

Recommend coming with your full party and getting in early because most the benches are first come first serve. We encounters no lines for a match and then really long ones for knockouts...read full review
