“Recently stopped in to kill some time, and this turned out to be the whole highlight of my NYC trip that day! I previously have had Other Half brews before and since this was conveniently located by where I was headed I added it. I had 3 different beers, the Broccoli, Bacon and the BA Sugar cereal and all were amazing. Staff was super friendly and they had some great tunes in the background. Highly recommend!“

City Hops Craft Beer and Wine Bar Brewpubs • $
1145 2nd Ave, New York

“Small but great and unusual selection of beers. 12 taps of beers you won't find in many places. Plenty of cans if the taps don't excite you. A good wine selection if someone in your party doesn't want beer. It can get very crowded very quickly, as it is a small space. Lots of sports on the many TVs. Nice staff!“

“The nachos here were so delectable I literally had to put my hair in a bun before digging in! 😂 I stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for tacos and walked into a loud, jumping atmosphere. Despite it being packed, my son and I were seated right away.
Our server, Eliana, was amazingly friendly and wore a really cool hat! The food took a little while to come out, but the place was crowded, and let me tell you—it was absolutely worth the wait. My nachos were an easy 11/10! My son’s chicken tenders and fries were tasty, though the waffle fries were a bit on the salty side.
The only cons were that I expected the bathrooms to be a bit cleaner, and they seemed a little understaffed. There were more bussers than servers, which made the overall service a bit slow. Still, the food and vibes mean I’ll definitely be back!“

“Tap Beer New York is hands down one of the best spots in the city if you’re looking for a perfect combo of great food, excellent beer, and a lively atmosphere. The food here is absolutely amazing—flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re ordering something small to pair with a drink or diving into a full meal, you won’t be disappointed.

The beer selection is top-notch, with a wide variety of local brews and popular favorites on tap. There’s always something new to try, and the staff is happy to offer recommendations if you’re not sure where to start.

What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. On select nights, they have live music that adds a great vibe without overwhelming conversation. Plus, they show all the major sports events, so it’s a go-to spot for game day too.

The service is friendly and attentive, and the overall energy is welcoming without being over the top. Whether you’re with friends, on a date, or just want to unwind solo with a good beer, Tap Beer New York hits all the right notes. Definitely a 5-star experience!“
