Saw the sign outside claiming they serve some of the best beer in the city, and after stopping in, I have to agree! City Hops has a really unique vibe and a great selection of draft beers. Jose, the owner, made the experience even better. He was very friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enjoys talking with his customers. Great beer, great atmosphere, and a place I’d definitely visit again. I hope to see more City Hops locations around New York someday!
I found City Hops completely by chance after work one day. It's right by the bridge I take to get home, and it turned out to be such a hidden gem. They have an incredible beer selection ( I absolutely love the stouts here) and Jose, the bartender, always has the best stories and makes everyone feel welcome.

This is my local bar in Lenox Hill neighborhood on the UES in Manhattan. I have been coming here since first moving to NYC and am lucky it's so close to me. This bar is the best local spot you could ask for, and there is a connection not only between staff and customers, but also it is a place where those who come in effortlessly connect with one another. Real sense of community here and I will always recommend it to newcomers!

City Hops Craft Beer and Wine Bar is a great place to gather with friends. It has bar seating, tables, and window bar seating options. The bar offers a fridge selection and beers on tap. The staff is very friendly. It's a chill place with great snacks like popcorn and chips, and it's dog friendly.
