The Randolph is a fun and unique venue in Dumbo, ideal for group meet-ups, birthdays, and special events like company outings. The atmosphere is great, combining elements of a brewery, a garden, and an early 2000s arcade. The space is large with two separate areas and features a game room with sick throwback games, including arcade cabinets, shuffleboard, giant foosball, and unique feather bowling. Feather bowling lanes can be reserved for a reasonable fee. While arcade tokens have a standard cost, some games are free.
The staff are great, very attentive, professional, and high-energy, often going above and beyond to help with events and logistics. They are accommodating, allowing outside items like a birthday cake. The service contributes to a vibe that is not overly crowded, allowing groups to play games without a wait.
The food is delicious and perfect for events, with notable items like incredible chicken fingers, steak skewers, and great crab legs on the rooftop in summer. They accommodate dietary needs. The venue brews its own root beer in house, considered by some to be the best in NY, and offers great mocktails. However, budgeters should be aware that drinks like beer can be expensive.
Overall, The Randolph provides an exceptional experience, highly recommended for a fun time with friends or colleagues. It is a spot best suited for special events rather than a quick, casual visit.
