This Restaurant was simply AMAZING!! We had Steak Fromage and had never had it before. It literally melted in your mouth it was that good. The Roquefort cheese was on the side and you could just lather your steak with it. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. Just the best steak I've ever had. Service was over the top. I mean literally after two or three drinks of a beverage they were right there to top it off. Every part of the meal was perfect. And if you like history...
Classic old steakhouse, great service and a solid menu. Steak was properly cooked but the meat was dry and didn't have great flavour. Disappointing food quality given the price.
Went into the City to see Hell's Kitchen, the play written by Alicia Keyes (highly recommend this entertaining, lively play). So, when in NYC, Sparks is at the top of our list for dinner. Arrived at the restaurant a bit early so we had cocktails at the bar. A “perfect” Manhattan for me and a martini for my wife along with a great conversation with the bartender. We split a Caesar Salad (crisp, fresh, tasty), I had the Steak Frommage (plenty of delicious Roquefort cheese)...
