New location from the old one that closed, definitely less divey and more of a younger crowd now. Also BE AWARE they charge you a 20% tip without letting you know and then show you a tip screen expecting you to tip more which is sketchy!!

I used to go to the old Dymphna's, which was a great bar, but the new one has gone to the dogs. I ordered three beers on a card last night, and when I went to sign the barman had put a 20% gratuity on it. When I asked why he got to decide that and not me, he said "it's standard." No wonder the place is dead now. Another customer lost.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was too crowded to dance without being bumped into constantly BUT the playlist is so so good. 2010s hits after hits with some classics and new songs thrown in. Loved it because of the music!

Under-18s onlyIf your idea of a good night is hanging out with the young while listening to songs from your youth, then this is the bar for you.I can only hope that the college students were not bopping to our music in an ironic fashion, or uttering phrases like ‘omg, I love the oldies!’.Venue itself was good and well managed with friendly staff.It does also still hold signs of a more glamorous past, despite the Amazon-own disco ball awkwardly cellotaped to the ceiling. Someone had clearly spent a lot of time getting the walls just so. There was also stained glass in wood in there, a good sign. The swarms of youths made getting further into the bar unthinkable, although I’m sure this area would also betray signs of a more glamorous past.NB: As an add on, I am certain that everyone in the bar was of age. They were diligently checking all IDs and I use the above title in jest only. This bar is big for the 21 to 25 group!
