St Tropez West Village

Love and recommend this restaurant. Amazing staff, great food, no pretense. And prices that make sense in the best of locations. They're doing it right.

Server was attentive and helpful. It was just really loud in there, but it was a Friday night.

Johan was wonderful ❤️ food was also great.

Absolutely incredible dinner at this little gem of a restaurant in the West Village, St Tropez. Our waitress was an absolute delight (kind and charming despite the very late arrival of one person in our party), the drinks were excellent, the food was delicious (my husband and I had the salmon, our son had the hamburger), the atmosphere was cozy but convivial, and the host came over to fix the table when he noticed that it was a little wobbly (without being asked). Everything was perfect. Our only complaint is that the tables are a little close together, but this is the West Village. All in all, a wonderful restaurant where everyone is working hard to ensure customers are having the best evening - and we were.

Like traveling to the south of France.

Loved our dinner at St Tropez. The staff was quick, personable, and very accommodating. The food was delicious (especially the escargot), and our waiter, Johan, was the best. Thank you for the great meal and for taking us a little earlier than our original reservation!

Sat outside as inside was closed for an event. The inside looked really cozy and pretty. Food was really good! We had the snails, fish, and burger. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Sadly no picture.

We celebrated our summer office happy hour here. These are my thoughts:

Pros:
- Extremely attentive staff—Ali was truly amazing, one of the best servers ever !!!!
-Very affordable compared to similar venues in West Village
-Great vibes and atmosphere.
-The food and drinks were amazing.

Cons:
-Not ideal for very large groups; our party of 50 was just about comfortable.
-Communication with the event poc was slow—I had to follow up multiple times, which was frustrating at times, but I’m glad it all worked out.

Came here for lunch & fell in love with this little simple French boutique restaurant! The open style kitchen gives it a home feeling. It wasn’t busy and has outside seating. This hidden gem came with such amazing flavors in everything I tasted shrimp and meatball appetizers are a must and the chef granted us The beef bourguignon for lunch and am I glad he did !!! The service was great and they made us all the martinis with love. If you’re in the west village definitely drop in !! See you there. 💛

I absolutely love this French restaurant!!! I went there first time Six years ago when I just moved to New York and fall in love! And keep coming back!

They have amazing food , great service, and atmosphere!

This time we ordered oysters , Foie gras, hanger steak and truffle risotto with scallops, and creme brulee for desert. Everything was FANTASTIC!

And had some special cocktails.

I will highly recommend this place for everyone who is looking for cute spot in West Village and good food.

A bustling west village wine bar specializing in lite bites (plus full entrees) and a full French wine list- all reasonably priced. St Tropez offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and is serviced by a small but incredibly diligent staff (the staff cemented my review of 4 stars).
