My friend and I got randomly turned away for no reason. Rude service and never plan on coming back here. Do better

A great corner spot for a quick glass of wine or a longer lounge sit down. My sister and I stopped in around 7 pm on a Tuesday and were able to get a seat at the window for a bit before their reservations started. A nice selection of wines, mostly glasses were within the $18-$25/glass range.

Hostess messed up the wait list. Then after 80 minutes offered to add us to the bottom of the list. Ridiculous.

I’ve been to both locations of Stafili Wine Café, and each has its own charm. The West Village location is perfect for colder days — cozy and warm with a lovely indoor atmosphere. In Tribeca, if the weather’s nice, they set up outdoor seating, which makes for a wonderful al fresco experience. We enjoyed some amazing wine and small bites at both spots — the hummus was delicious, and the white wine in the photo I posted was my absolute favorite.

Greek wine (in general) is just not as good as many of the finer Italian wines, it has greater acidity and is sweeter. Service can be slow intermittently throughout a visit but I really like the atmosphere.

Truly mediocre. Staff knows nothing about wines and the wine selection is limited

If you’re looking for the perfect hidden gem in the West Village, Stafili Wine Bar is it. From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and chic, cozy vibe set the tone for an incredible evening. The selection of wines is nothing short of outstanding—thoughtfully curated, diverse, and full of unique finds you won’t see everywhere else.
What truly sets Stafili apart, though, are the people. Anthony makes the experience unforgettable. His passion for wine, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality create the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just beginning your journey, Anthony guides you effortlessly—pairing the perfect glass with your mood and even sharing the stories behind the wines that make each sip memorable.
Pair that with their small plates and charcuterie (which are as beautifully presented as they are delicious), and you’ve got the ultimate wine bar experience.
Stafili isn’t just a wine bar—it’s an experience, and with Anthony leading the way, it feels like home every time. A must-visit in the West Village! 🍷

Great happy hour, lots of outdoor seating options and indoor seating options with people watching on the corner. Very fun

Not a friendly neighborhood spot. Rude service, asking for a phone number to tell you that they won’t be able to seat you in an empty place because they have reservations. Incredibly rude host.

Met a friend for coffee and walked together to Stafili so she could have a glass of wine while I had to run to take a call. Stafili was nearly empty so she had her pick of tables. As I said goodbye, I asked to use the restroom and was quickly denied access because I wasn't "a seated customer". I was literally with a customer who was actively being seated. Heaven forbid Stafili treat others with respect and offer true service. Funny enough, I was actually thinking about staying or even coming back after my call. Not this time, and frankly not in the future either.

if you’re a person of color, don’t bother. sat for 25 minutes and not a single waiter bothered to stop by our table. meanwhile, every other party who entered after us was serviced immediately. too many other options in the area where you won’t be treated like a second class citizen.
