I have made a point to visit this place on every trip to NYC since I first found it in 2021. You will not find better vibes nor a better BEC. I’m very happy to see they’ve expanded into a little bar area and can’t wait to come back at night and enjoy a drink.

We were looking for an inexpensive breakfast that would be filling, and this was the place. Excellent food choices and very flavorful. I had a Mexican omelette, which included a nice amount of jalapeño, onion and green peppers. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes and toast. All this for under half what you would pay elsewhere. You order at the front, then choose your table. Many locals seem to order for take out on their way to work. Friendly staff, clean tables, and nice decor in the dining area.

I ordered the bagel, cream cheese and lox to go. (Very small area to sit) which is on the menu for $12.95 but the man making the sandwiches didn't know what lox were until I told him it was salmon. Twice he asked me if I wanted everything on it and twice I said yes. When I go to eat my bagel, there is no salmon. There is a problem here.

I left a simple review but they asked for context! I grew up on the East Coast when real delis were great for bagels, sandwiches, and pickles. The burger tasted cheap like those formed in a factory and then frozen. The breads used for the burger, panini, and sub were stale/cheap! The back room was beautiful but it was closed off. Dining in the bar area was blah and not nice like the back room next to it. I suggest opening that room to everyone and improve the quality of food! The menu is exhausting. The staff is friendly. What is a deli without great deli food? It is not a great deli!
