Myself and my partner visited this Starbucks as it was close to our hotel. To say the reception we got was unfriendly when we asked for our order is an understatement. The two staff “serving” seemed to be spoiling for a fight. I’m not sure of the reason for them being upset with us, but the atmosphere was threatening. It was clear we weren’t wanted in the store and the staff seemed to want some kind of confrontation to take place. We were on holiday and just wanted a drink. Not much to ask in a takeaway drinks establishment? We didn’t “bite” when the server took our names when we ordered and proceeded to ridicule us infront of our faces!! Not sure why names were necessary (when we were the only customers there!), but goes to show that we weren’t welcome. I was actually scared by how intimidating and hostile the “gentleman” who served us behaved towards us. He was showing off to an equally unfriendly female colleague. Almost just walked out, but felt like that would’ve caused an issue too. So we stayed polite got our drinks and got the he** out of there as quickly as we could! If you’re not a native and you dare to be so rude as to order a drink in here, then prepare for outright animosity and to cut the atmosphere with a chain saw! Scariest coffee I ever had!!!!!!!

Sunday at 6:20pm ( 02-07-2021). I went for a coffee and the door was closed. There were two people working inside and they saw me but didn’t open the door. It seems like they closed already but the website and working hours says shop close at 7pm Sunday. Very disappointed as a regular customer.

I was in the city for a day of meetings. This store was on my way. I already had two cups of coffee, so I ordered a London Fog. This beverage consists of Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, and a touch of vanilla syrup. Not overly sweet. They made it perfectly! I look forward to a day, where I can sit in Starbucks, enjoy a coffee, and get my work done.

This place is always unorganized and unprofessional. Deondra or whoever her name is was incredibly rude and focused on flirting with her customer "chris" at the moment trying to get a discount on a LOL surprise electric scooter instead of focusing on her work and customers. So not only did she forget one of my drinks but had me and 3 others waiting until Mr. Chris was 200% taken care of. Maybe your employees should stop worrying about pocketing tips and getting discounts from their customers

I was very perturbed by the attitude of one of your employees today. I visited the store at about 5.15 pm this afternoon, upon entering the store your employee said that they were closed so i simply asked how does the app say that closing time is 6pm but this store has been closing way before that time for a few days now and she rudely turned to me and said " I am telling you we are closed." As a regular customer I felt totally disrespected. Your employees need to learn to respect its valued customers.

A working morning. After four visits I am a little mixed on this location. They have a wonderful large seating area upstairs and the music is great. Trouble is, the music is WAY LOUD and one of the baristas clearly feels compelled to sign at top volume, get all the attention at all times, and is just waiting for someone to "discover" her as a singer. She's not a bad singer, but she is not into her job at all. "Shaken Green Tea" is just poorer into a cup with some ice (not the extra I asked for) dropped on top. The Pink Drink I ordered once was not shaken either. Drink quality is based on ingredients but also HOW they are prepared. With the lack of attention to presentation and preparation one wonders about the overall quality and safely of the products as a whole at this location. Closing time on the Starbucks app does not reflect why this store does. Each time I was there near closing (within 30-60 minutes), employees locked the doors and told people they were closed. Once this happened 45 minutes before the closing time listed in the Starbucks app. This was after that "signing" barista was causing a scene holding the doors closed and "playing" with someone she knew on the outside telling him he couldn't go in. At that point, no one unlocked the door and just told the steady stream of potential customers that they were closed. The bathroom is a nightmare. When it WAS open the one time, it backed up and refused to flush. The news to the four people waiting was not well received. This is my first 1 star review and I am shocked it is for a Starabucks.

On Saturday , 02/01/2020, at about 3pm, after I waited online and was in a rush, a female employee who had glitter eye makeup (describing bc I never asked her name as I should have ), completely IGNORED ME as if I was invisible, and started taking an order from the man who was standing behind me. I interrupted her and told her I needed large coffee with hazelnut flavor. When I wanted to pay (I was also purchasing a snack), I couldn’t see the price, so I asked, “ how much??” To which she replied in a very rude manner like I was bothering her. After she served EVERYONE who was behind me, she got my order wrong. I told her I needed large. I also said she was very rude. She then dared to tell me “we treat everyone with respect here”. To which I replied that she was the one disrespecting me. Finally, she said ok I’ll make u large just by adding more coffee. BUT SHE RAN OUT of coffee and started to make a new pot without telling me that I had to wait EVEN LONGER. She NEVER CORRECTED HER ERROR AND NEVER APILOGIED. I had to wait another 5-10 minutes till another, nice employee finally interfered to help by using a different kind of coffee. I hope the manager sees this complaint. The nasty and unprofessional employee made me late for my appointment- that’s on top of being rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful.

Completely useless staff. One particular woman and man who were working there today took 15 mins to realise that they didn't actually have what I ordered, and didn't even wash out my reusable cup after. Should not be hiring such inept staff who spend more time talking to each other with their airpods in their ears than actually doing their job

So far as a Starbucks store is not that much big on order area but they have upstairs in need. Clean environment and service was great with fresh food::: Situated at corner of 8th Avenue & W 39th St. Manhattan NYC.
