I went to New York with my family last year and we are not used to Winter and it was raining and we had two tired little girls and we were very welcome and we enjoyed the service and the meals so much I rate 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Randomly walked in and had an excellent burrito bowl at a very reasonable place.
The chips were great and they had a large selection of cane sugar sodas too, which tends to be hard to come across.
Definitely recommend over a Chipotle or even Dos Torres if you’re nearby.

Maiz offers a menu with lots of variety, including shredded pork rice bowl, tacos with three different meats, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, famous bowls, chimichunga with shredded beef, and carne asada burrito. The food is absolutely delicious, amazing, and very fresh, with everything reasonably priced. The atmosphere is funky, aesthetic, and lively, though a little loud for some. Service is really good, with friendly waiters who happily answer questions. The restaurant has booths, two bathrooms, and allows tables for four even if two people are still coming. Happy hour drinks are awesome. This spot is a new favorite for Mexican food, highly recommended when visiting New York, even for picky eaters.
