I’m giving this 5-star review just for Michael the amazing older Black man who works here. He’s incredibly sweet and spreads so much positive energy around the place. Every time I see him, he brightens my day. People like him make the world (and this Starbucks!) feel better.
I’m not sure what’s going on lately but the coffee hasn’t been bitter but almost salty. Used to love Starbucks coffee but something has changed and not for the better. Service was a bit slow for midday but not horrible. The renovations are really nice. Super clean.
One can't expect much of a service in the Midtown of our great City. That's why it was so nice to encounter Kiki, one of the baristas at this Starbucks. She was helpful and pleasant, and noticing that I had to spend some time in the café (working on a difficult project which was not budging), she came by my table and offered water and a refill.
