Shawn and Emma did a AMAZING job walking up thru each step of the class. We had a GREAT time full of laughs and enjoyment. Would definitely recommend

We did the espresso martini class. Not clear where to check in. The coffee was too strong and bitter, NEW YORK brand for ALL the drinks. I'm not a big drinker but it seemed the drink was too strong, anyway I didn't drink any after the first sip, (nor did most of the participants). We shared a couple of almond croissants cut into pieces, and some cold olive bread pieces. Our server was not too experienced as small talk, but she was fine. I can see where the server will be key to your experience. I also think the whole setup should be done before the class. As a whole, way overpriced, food should be at least whole and not cut in pieces. Basically we learned how to shake the martini for 100$. The store is beautiful!!

Alice did an excellent job at presenting the information and made the experience fun and interesting. I highly recommend

The 2 guys hosting the experience were great, they told us about Starbucks, the brewing method, and we're very friendly. I gave an overall 4 stars out of 5 because when breaking it down we paid $48 per person for 4 sips of coffee and 2 very small pieces of chocolate. We learned about a new brewing method but we wouldn't say we walked away learning more about how to experience coffee.

My two sister in laws and I booked the espresso martini experience while in NYC on a girls trip. Ethan and Sean were our baristas and did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable and had us laughing the whole time. There is no way you can book this experience and not have a great time with those two guys. I highly recommend!

Muy buena la experiencia, la recomiendo mucho, si eres amante del café, vale mucho la pena pagar los 60 USD

I'm sorry that was probably the worst stop for the entire vacation for my family. There were two or three employees that were amazing, but starting with the worst part of the location. The cost, in total I spent $900 in 2 1/2 hours on Merch, food and a coffee experience. Merch - great Coffee experience - poor, the person doing the tasting said they don't even like coffee and the other person I'll be at very nice was not trained very well, borderline zero knowledge on coffee and I paid $300 for a tasting. Too loud - the music in that place is so loud when they take your order they can't hear what you're ordering and they get it wrong which they did on two separate occasions. I had one person apologize everyone else said we've complained multiple times but the manager is never there and doesn't care what feedback they give him or her on the noise level. No need to respond to my review. No need to reach out. You will not see any of my money or myself ever again. Wishing you all the best in the future.

Experience was fantastic! Both Baristas made the experience better than we could have expected. One suggestion I would like to make is to add lighting to the area where the table is. Very dark area and hard to see colors of coffee or the process of brewing. This can be easily done as there is ceiling power above the table. Other suggestion would be to move the table to a brighter area that is more secluded from sound.

We were at the reserve for the coffee tasting experience. The guide had some general history of Starbucks roasting and the building architecture, but the delivery was too casual for the cost. And because the store was so loud with music and people, it was difficult to hear at times. The table we sat at for the tasing was in a dark and very loud corner of the store and this made our experience unpleasant. The highlight of the tour was the live roasting. Mick and team were very knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions clearly. A huge negative for this experience was that it was easy to listen in if you were not part of the tour, whether walking around and talking to the guide, watching the roasting process, or the conversation at the tasting table. Generally I would say this experience is not worth the value of the cost. The Reserve itself (non-tour) does have great coffee and unique food you won't find in a green apron store. It's worth a stop in for a bite and sips.

This was our first time to a Starbucks Reserve and we chose to do the Espresso Martini experience! We had two great bartenders teaching us the class, Shawn P and Ethan were great, very attentive, and cool to chat with during our class! However, the area the experience was in felt like we were put into a corner with loud music and people behind us watching our experience. After seeing the Empire Building experience area I would book there over the 9th Avenue location.

Shawn & Ethan were soo friendly & gave such good vibes! This was such a fun experience however.. the only downfall was feeling so congested in the corner on the bottom floor of the Roastery when it seemed like it was plenty more spaces we could've been in.

I was initially skeptical about coming here due to some of the reviews I read, I was knocked out of my boots by the barista Brian who took my order then made my drink with such speed and artistry yesterday! I got the peppermint mocha

Emma and Ethan were both great and we really enjoyed our experience in the roastery. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. I made a purchase and decided to sit before my interview. An employee came by, banged on my table, and told me I needed to make a purchase and kicked me out. Hospitality is dead. What gives? I wasnt disturbing anyone and my presence disturbed him to the point of needing to kick me out. I was already having a shit day and needed to sit down and breathe and the man felt it was more important to kick me out despite my starbucks in my hand. I got so embarrassed by the commotion he made, banging on my table like that. Genuinely so shocked, I didn’t know what I did so wrong for him to react that way. Left the store in tears and was stuck outside in the freezing cold.

Will be contacting corporate over the mistreatment I experienced. It wasn’t even a water, I had a refresher in my hand and was told it wasn’t the same.

The experience made our anniversary special. Shawn and Ethan were very informative and entertaining. Could not have asked for two better individuals to instruct. The location could have been a little bit more secluded and there could have been more lighting. All in all will recommend the experience to others and will plan to attend again.
