Great customer service and relatively fast service too! Their employee, Will, was very helpful and kind to the customers; he was very efficient at getting the drinks and food out to the people waiting.

The atmosphere is very conducive to focus on your work and study. The staffs are very cordial. Only two baristas serving for the patrons. The seats are very comfy. I would definitely come over for my tea break next time.

Had a terrible experience this morning where the barista spilled my drink and then gave me the spilled drink. When I asked for a new drink, he made a face and took over 20 minutes to make a new one.

Bugs were flying all over the window in front of store. COULDNT sit there. A woman employee brings her two kids to work. They go to Private school. Seems they get complimentary meals. Staff gave the kids free drinks etc. mom/employee is constantly talking with co workers while people are waiting to be helped.

i ordered black ice tea lemonade with honey, and i got black tea, period....???? so bad so sloppy. and it took them extra 5 mins than the in -app estimate pick up time to make just the wrong drink.

Starbucks’ designs are always innovative. At this location on 40th Street, hand-drawn illustrations are used to depict the history of coffee and the Starbucks story.

The service at this store was appalling. I visited it on 8.27.25 around 9:30am and after placing an in store order, waited 15 minutes for two drip coffees and sausage bites. I’d likely still be waiting had I not started asking for my order at the 10 minute mark. The cashier was too busy rearranging the food in the display cases to assist me so I had to interrupt him. It still took 5 additional minutes for someone to press the drip button. Interestingly, there were 9 employees behind the counter- about a 1 to 1 ratio with customers. There was a steady flow of app ordered drinks but nothing outrageous. I’m not sure what the unions are complaining about when they say the stores are short-staffed. What the stores seem to be short of is customer awareness. The new CEO speaks to the return of the old service oriented Starbucks but it’s nowhere in sight at this store.

Usually this location's afternoon staff is amazing very welcoming and professional. However, this afternoon the service was noticeably different. The staff member serving the drinks around 12pm seemed less engaged with people of color and didn’t offer straws to us the way he did with his same demographic.

I went inside to buy a drink and the barista working on duty 8/14 at 6:30 pm gave me the dirtiest look the second I stepped in because he was on his phone so I simply left immediately. YOU DONT DESERVE BUSINESS STARBUCKS ❌

It’s busy. They need to figure out how the line goes. The chairs are outdated and worn out. The people are very friendly. The food is the same as everywhere.

This is a very nice location. Clean and nice and efficient staff. Code for gender neutral bathrooms for ppl who patronize the store so bathrooms are clean too. Seats are comfy and you have free WiFi and charging stations. Seating is nice too. They have a pickup area under name in alpha order so it’s organized. Ceilings are tall and it’s a beautiful atmosphere. The music is a bit loud for me as I’m trying to enjoy a book but I have noise cancellation AirPods so I’m good. Don’t drive here as there’s no free parking or rare in the residential streets w alternate street side parking. It’s best to take the subway and it’s on 40th street and 3rd avenue one store shy from the exact corner of these streets. Convenient. Plus they recycle.

I do not recommend this place, coffee was not made correctly and the vendor lied about the price as I took one small café latte that he charged at the price of medium.
Unprofessional service, they care only about money.
I do not recommend it. There are plante other Starbucks near by with more honest personnel.
