Not welcoming employees at all. As a fellow Starbucks partner we always take pride into making everyone feel welcomed to the “2nd place” but this location lacks this simple gesture. Diego was not welcoming at all.

Dear Starbucks Team,

As a longstanding customer, loyal fan, and investor in your company, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and shock at the treatment I received today at one of your locations.

On an extremely hot day, visibly exhausted and overheated, I asked for a simple glass of water. To my disbelief, I was told by your employee that I needed to make a purchase in order to receive one. When I explained that I’m a regular customer and even showed my purchase history, I was informed that it “wasn’t at this location,” and was still denied a cup of water.

It’s hard to put into words how appalling this was — not only as a customer, but on a basic human level. It was 95 degrees outside. Denying someone a glass of water under those conditions is not only in poor taste but genuinely inhumane.

I walked immediately to Le Pain Quotidien, where they welcomed me and provided water without hesitation. The contrast in compassion and customer service was stark.

I sincerely hope Starbucks reevaluates policies and staff training around basic hospitality and care, especially in extreme weather. This experience was not only disappointing — it was disheartening.

Stopped in on a walk yesterday. Got a lemon loaf and a lemonade, both were good. The staff were nice and helpful.

This is the best starbucks, the cashier was really sweet and the server was nice when i went back to the counter because i forgot something. I got a strawberry acai resfresher with lemoade and it tasted amazing! i would come here everyday if it wasnt far away from my house. Overall, i recommed this place to anyone who is going to Central Park and loves Starbucks!

Literally the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been in. Avoid it, there are others nearby. Slow rude staff, you don’t get what you ordered and what you do get takes ages to arrive.

I’m an usual customer. I asked them to fill my own plastic cup with water because my dog was very thirsty and they refused.

Worst service I had in starbucks ever. The guy tending the mobile orders was rude when the app marked my drink as “ready” but it wasn’t really. When asking if this was an error he first ignored me, and then said “your drink is not ready, but I can give you this” (and makes a gesture as in handing an invisible drink with his hand). I understand this location is really busy, but the disrespect to a paying customer when the company’s app is not accurate is beyond my comprehension. If I were to act like that in my own company, HR would probably have me fired.

Needless to say, never coming to this location again.

The young woman(dark hair kinda dark skin, not black) who took my order is racist and illiterate. There are only two letters in my name and I told her one by one, and she still put some random Chinese-sounding name on my order. This is ridiculous.

Starbucks doesn’t rise or fall on reviews.
It thrives on ritual,
built into the heartbeat of America.
one cup, one moment, one experience at a time

Came in here on my lunch break just to get a cup of ice (I already had a drink from elsewhere), and as I asked the girl to order said cup of ice, she rolls her eyes and says, “you have to purchase something for a cup of ice.” Ummm okay? Since when? I don’t remember getting the memo for this. Dunkin announced a while back that you had to pay for a cup of ice, okay cool, but since when did Starbucks start doing this?? Overall, I will not purchase NOTHING from this company anymore. There’s been way too many bad experiences, at different locations. I’d rather support small businesses or Dunkin instead.

They were very busy, but keeping up with demand very well.
