Twin Tails Reviews
This restaurant is a gem. We loved the tasting menu, each dish was unique. There were five of us celebrating our anniversary. We were treated like royalty. The portions were large and the staff were very responsive to my gluten intolerance.
A special thank you to Valerie, who made the reservation and explained the foods to be avoided. We emailed one another and her special attention was far beyond my expectations.
I had a great time at Twin Tails. Loved the Drunken noodle lobster , chicken springrolls and mango sticky rice all flavorful

Twin Tails is an Asian fusion restaurant that offers a diverse menu and an elegant, cozy atmosphere. The space is described as dark and cozy but elegant, with excellent service and a friendly host. It strikes a rare balance between elegance and soul, creating a warm yet refined dining experience. The restaurant is known for its thoughtful menu, where each dish delivers depth, finesse, and a sense of place.
The drink menu features standout options like the Salty Lychee Martini, which is a unique twist on a classic martini with a sweet and Thai basil flavor. The Bangkok Screwdriver, however, is reported to be less impressive.
The food at Twin Tails is universally praised, with highlights including the Whole Dorade Sashimi, Green Curry Escargot, Crying Tiger Steak, Twin Lobster Noodle, and Cho Lon Duck. The King Crab and Uni Bun is also a delightful small plate. The sea bass curry, filet mignon, and duck are standout mains, each beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The pistachio soufflé for dessert was exceptional—pillowy in texture and perfectly restrained in sweetness. Despite some dishes like the Lemongrass Ribs being considered weaker, the overall consensus is that the food is exceptional.
Diners recommend coming in a group of four to fully experience the diverse menu and enjoy a more comfortable seating arrangement. The five-hour dining experience is described as unforgettable, with a fantastic wine selection and exceptional desserts to cap off the meal. Service is gracious with perfect timing, and the atmosphere elevates the entire experience. Many find Twin Tails to be one of the coolest, most delicious, and elegant restaurants in New York City, making it a special night out worth repeating.
