During my 6-day trip to NYC, Isaiah Fernandez made my latte every morning, and he truly made each visit special. He brings such positive energy to his work and genuinely seems to love what he does and the connections he creates with customers.

Getting my coffee from Isaiah became one of the highlights of my trip. His friendly attitude, consistency, and enthusiasm made every morning a little better. Thank you, Isaiah, for the wonderful experience—I can’t wait to come back on my next visit to New York! ☕️✨

Great place but slow service and average food for the price

If you like Starbucks, you will certainly like Starbucks reserve. It is basically a very upscale Starbucks with unique seating and dining experiences. Additionally, there are drinks available here that are not available at the regular Starbucks stores.

Did the coffee tasting experience and had a great time! While the shop on this particular day was a bit crowded and loud, Alice did a great job walking us through the coffee making and roasting process and keeping us engaged.

My husband and I attended the Roastery & Tasting Experience, and it was truly beyond our expectations. As devoted Starbucks customers, we had no idea these roasteries even existed, and the NYC location is absolutely magnificent—beautifully designed and filled with incredible sights, aromas, and flavors. We began with Alice, our guide, who was spectacular. She led us through the space with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing fascinating details and stories we had never heard and shepherding us seamlessly through the entire experience. She was terrific. Next, we met Mark, the roaster, who walked us through the roasting process and the origins of Starbucks beans with remarkable clarity and depth. His ability to explain complex ideas in such accessible language was impressive—and yes, he was terrific as well. We ended with a coffee tasting led by Shawn, who was funny, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to engage the group, and we found ourselves laughing while truly savoring the experience. Not only did we have a wonderful time, we learned so much and left feeling even more connected to the Starbucks brand after seeing its values in action. This experience was well beyond our expectations and absolutely worth every penny.

Starbucks Reserve Roastery New York is a completely different experience from a regular Starbucks — it feels more like a coffee theater. The space is huge, beautifully designed, and filled with the sounds and aromas of fresh coffee roasting right in front of you.

Watching the roasting process, the copper details, and the open bars on multiple levels makes the visit immersive and exciting. You don’t just drink coffee here — you experience how it’s made, from bean to cup.

The coffee selection is excellent, with rare Reserve beans and creative drinks you won’t find in standard locations. Everything is crafted with care, and the quality really stands out. The food is also surprisingly good and pairs perfectly with the drinks.

Despite how busy it gets, the atmosphere remains vibrant and inspiring — a great place to take a break, meet friends, or simply enjoy being surrounded by craftsmanship and design.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in New York, especially if you appreciate coffee, architecture, and unique urban spaces.
