Fabulous and sexy. A great space and the food and staff were exceptional . I highly recommend giving this Rooftop a visit whilst in NYC.
The food was very good even though it wasn’t the main attraction based on portion size and price point. Nonetheless we had a ball at Starchild! The views were absolutely breathtaking and the vibe in there is immaculate. Super looking forward to going back before the summer ends!!
Amazing experience!!!!!! Such a great atmosphere and friendliest staff in the city and the drinks are amazinggggg
Dave the manager and George the bar tender showed us a tremendous time. Very attentive and welcoming to us! Definitely need to comeback!
Dave was the most amazing person. We had the best time. He took such great care of us and I definitely will be back just for him alone.
The lychee cosmo was amazing as well
The rooftop has stunning views and a lively ambiance, which definitely sets the tone for a great night out. My friends and I arrived about 30 minutes before happy hour with a reservation and were looking forward to trying a few things on the menu. Unfortunately, they were already out of the Starburst and Wagyu dumplings, and after we ordered the lychee cosmos when happy hour started, those ran out too—not ideal.
Service started off a bit spotty; our server wasn’t very attentive. However, the General Manager came over and made a great impression—friendly, upbeat, and clearly invested in guest experience. He even had complimentary tequila shots sent over, which was a nice gesture, though they tasted a little watered down.
Despite a few hiccups, we enjoyed the drinks we did get and the beautiful skyline views. With a few tweaks to service and inventory, this spot could really shine.
Overall experience was horrible. First got there and the young lady at the table didn't even check to see if I had a reservation and said “sorry we can't seat you guys” but then found my reservation after I told her to double check. It took them about 30 minutes to finally come to us but the people behind was constantly being checked on and served. Maybe it's a color thing and they only focus on a certain class. Best part about this place was us leaving and agreeing to never comeback again
Starchild will now be a regular spot for my NYC weekend trips. Making a reservation (and modifying it) & checking in was so easy! The staff is friendly, accommodating & communicative. The DJ on Friday night was *chefs kiss* and the views are beautiful. The drinks were yummy!
We made a quick stop before the thearte for some shared appertizers and espresso martinis. They didn't have the frozen version on the menu but the regular ones were delicious. Appertizers we ok also. The place is adorable and gives off a Stars on 54 vibe. Love the disco balls all over ! Definitely returning for more cocktails.

Rooftop is very small and staff is rude. There are much better rooftops in NYC with quality service.

Visited Starchild Rooftop while vacationing in NYC. First of all, the staff was very nice. From the first person at the door to the manager, we were pleasantly surprised with friendly and professional service. Our hostess, Jasmine, was amazing! She made sure to make us feel welcome and had the best energy ✨️ The drinks were just right, the view was beautiful, and the music (hip hop/ reggaeton) was on point!! Would definitely recommend coming here.
