If you’re looking for a place in the neighborhood to have a private event this is the best you’re gonna find. Had my birthday party here a few weeks ago and it was the best experience I’ve had booking a private event in the city. Gary made everything so easy. No minimum spend, great price for an open bar, and they even set up karaoke for us. The space downstairs is so cute and we were able to decorate how we wanted and play our own music. Service was great throughout the night and everyone had an amazing time!! Everyone that works there is so nice and the drinks were incredible. Seriously couldn’t have been a better experience and would do it again in the future! 10/10

A delightful place in the heart of Yorkville — honestly, didn't expect to find a place like this in the area where you can come in, stay for a while, have some fairly priced coffee and pastries — and they have great arts/community focus to boot. Adds real heart to the nieghborhood.

Best bar experience I’ve ever had! Gary made the bar atmosphere for every single customer impeccable. He talked to everyone in an extremely friendly manner, played everyone’s favorite songs and even brought out a karaoke where some people took turns signing. What an amazing bar, highly recommend!

Cocktails were very good and our server was such a pleasure to talk to. We enjoyed a few drinks so may have spent more than is typical, but cocktail prices are standard for NYC if not a little less.
I like this place a lot - it's cute and comfortable with plenty of seating for reading/working/socializing both day and night. There's a downstairs area that's good for quiet reading but it's also a good place to grab a drink with friends.

Quiet place to stop for a quick snack or drink alone or with friends. The grilled cheese sandwiches are good and the happy hour charcuterie board is a decent deal.That being said, the service is SLOW and if you show up at 3PM expecting to get any of the 3PM-8PM happy hour food deals, you will be kept waiting an hour as "the kitchen is closed."Why offer a happy hour special if the food you offer during that time frame is not even available the entire time?
