STK Steakhouse Downtown NYC

My friends and I went to STK Downtown NYC for the $69 Steak Night special. While the food and atmosphere were great, the billing experience was disappointing. Our server, Levan (spelling unsure), started off attentive, but when the bill came, the prix fixe deal wasn't applied. Instead, the check was itemized at full menu prices, adding up to hundreds more than expected. We even had to ask for the Prosecco and dessert that were supposed to be included. It felt like the overcharge might have been intentional, and it took several conversations and help from the general manager to finally correct it. We had already left a cash tip, but the server still seemed to push for an extra tip through the card, which made things awkward. On the bright side, Atom was phenomenal, explaining the steak cuts perfectly, and the busser provided excellent service. I've been here before, and the service and food were way better. The food and vibe were great, but STK really needs to fix how their promotions are handled and explained upfront so guests aren't left confused or nearly overcharged.

It was my first time dining here, and I had such a great experience! Johan was absolutely amazing. She took her time explaining the menu, made great suggestions, and even asked about food allergies. When my drink came out wrong, she got it fixed right away. The staff were also wearing these cute breast cancer awareness pins, and the manager was kind enough to give me his when I asked about them. Excellent service and such a thoughtful team!

Our visit to STK Steakhouse was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the energy and ambiance were top-notch — stylish, upbeat, and inviting. But what truly made the night memorable was our server, Adam. If you're planning to visit STK, ask for Adam — you won't regret it!

I made reservations for my boyfriend's birthday. Dinner felt rushed. We did not feel special. I wrote in the notes that it was a birthday celebration & we were not celebrated. Server was very short with us and gave the table next to us exceptional service. Felt very cheated. We do nice dinners for a lot of special events and will NEVER visit this location or any STK location again. When asked why we weren't celebrated server said because management doesn't let them and we had to buy a piece of cake which would have been fine if the server made that known prior to the check. Shame on you!!!!

Had an amazing date night dinner at the meatpacking location. Opted for the porterhouse and it was the best steak we've had. Hakim, was our server for the evening, he was very attentive to our table and ensured everything came out timely and correct. We appreciated his service as well as the young woman who was assisting him the evening of 9/28. We will absolutely be back!

You should check ID on the way in so that we don't have to pull out ID multiple times (bar and after being seated) THATS RIDICULOUS. WHY ARE YOU CHECKING ID IF I DIDNT EVEN ORDER A DRINK?? ITS OBSURD.

Celebrated my daughter's birthday. Enjoyed Happy Hour bites, stayed for dinner. Ended the evening with a delicious chocolate cake with a candle surrounded by fresh mint leaves. Staff were accommodating, we actually ended up with two server staff. Beautiful well appointed dining room. All in all an evening well spent.

went to the restroom & the waiter barged in, thinking we left without paying the bill. causing a scene “we need to tell him if we are going to the bathroom”

Phenomenal, hands down the best restaurant in nyc(this location ) someone prove me wrong.

Korine was outstanding from start to finish. She guided us through the menu with ease, and her warm personality immediately made us feel welcome. Her knowledge of wine and steak was impressive and helped us make the perfect choices. She went above and beyond to make us feel special, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had.

The food and service honestly was alright. What ruined it for me is the horrendous music they chose to play. They hired this dj to play some mix of techno and 90s music. The table and my chair were literally shaking. The place look so classy, i cant believe they ruined it like this. If you offer such expensive wine and food then the atmosphere should be as such.
