STK Steakhouse Downtown NYC

I love STK and I go here very often but I was so disappointed to go and the heat is not working properly. It is so uncomfortable and frustrating to try to eat drink and enjoy your self while you're shivering. I wish they would of gave a heads up that they were having heating problems when booking because it sucks being stuck there late night with no other dining options but can not eat and drink properly because you're so cold. I ended up not eating my food and taking everything to go because I was so uncomfortable, ultimately ruining the dining experience. Very disappointing

Overall the service and the food was good but it was so cold in there last night, that it was hard to enjoy our time.

Excellent service Andy was great with suggestions and making sure everything was going smoothly. Would definitely come back again.

We chose STK downtown for an early dinner because my son wanted steak. While the service was solid and the manager was accommodating when we asked to move tables due to a strong marijuana smell coming from the bar area, the overall experience fell short for the price. The potstickers were excellent, but the calamari was forgettable. My son's ribeye was cooked perfectly, however my filet mignon, ordered medium, came out undercooked and heavily peppered, making it difficult to enjoy. I also found the tableside torch used to melt butter on the steak unnecessary and off-putting. Despite attentive service, the food and atmosphere did not justify the high cost. Overall, it was an average experience at a premium price point, and we're unlikely to return.

Eddie was a great server, very attentive and made our birthday celebration really special. We will be back because of the service Eddie provided us

Made a reservation for 8:00 pm on 1/10/26, for 8 people, we got there, and the table wasn’t ready, we were there about ten minutes early, give or take. After being seated it took us a while to see a sever, but fine. Asked if we were celebrating an occasion, we were, my birthday. We ordered two bottles of wine, one came out and was put on ice next to the table, not even served, to which one of us served, and the other bottle took over an hour to come. Appetizers came out very good, table was never really cleaned, we had dishes from our appetizer now pushed in the middle of the table as the entrees came out. After that, we were not given the correct meals, we were served a cheaper steak, extra sides we didn’t order, and a tray of sauces which we also didn’t order, and it was also not explained what was what. Waiter, Adam, never came over to check on our meals, and we had to ask for a manager, who helped us. After that was all fixed, server never came over to check on everything, we waited about another hour until we finally asked someone for boxes. It was set up that someone was supposed to bring a dessert to celebrate my birthday, there was no candle, no song played or anything, it was just placed on the table by a food runner. Multiple other tables had sparklers, songs played, etc. Basically felt like we were just put in a corner and pushed to the side. We had to flag people down for the check. Overall for the prices you’re paying, completely not worth it at all, there are so many better places in the city. On top of this, I was a returning person, and I will NEVER be coming back again. This was all brought up to a manager, and it was all just pushed aside, never again.

Was really expecting more. Food quality did not meet expectations given high price point. Service was great, though. Cole slaw served w bacon appetizer was gummy and not tasty. Cesar salad dressing had way too much mustard. Sides: creamed spinach and mashed potatoes did not meet expectations. Steak was undercooked to order. I was out with my son, celebrating a special occasion, so I did not want to detract from the evening but bringing this up during the meal.

William is quite literally my FAVORITE server of all time (no offense to other servers). He made the entire experience so much fun and the food is top tier! Not sure if I want to come back for William or the food! 100% coming back though!
