I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the Subway located at 1814 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10035.
Last year, our organization, Blacklining Foundation, requested an in-kind donation of 20 sandwiches for our volunteer workers at our neighborhood Back to School Rally. Subway graciously fulfilled that request, and we were sincerely appreciative. Based on that experience, we reached out again this year in the same manner and received confirmation that our request would be honored.
Because of that confirmation, we did not approach any other vendor to provide lunch for our volunteers. However, when I arrived at the store at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, I was told that no sandwiches would be provided. This was both surprising and deeply disappointing.
Blacklining Foundation is a Harlem-based nonprofit committed to reversing the negative effects of redlining and supporting individuals facing poverty in our community. We have supported Subway by promoting your brand on our social media platforms and by recognizing your previous generosity. At the very least, Subway should honor its commitments to community organizations and to the promises made.
As a result of this unfulfilled commitment, we were forced to scramble on the morning of our 5th Annual Back to School Rally to secure lunch for our dedicated volunteers who give their time every year to support children and families. This situation was unacceptable and caused unnecessary hardship on an important community day.
We expect a response regarding this matter, as well as clarification on how Subway intends to avoid such situations in the future.
this is the best clean place service is at 100 and sandwiches were amazing i will continue to go there whenever im in the part of town.

At least the place is clean that’s the only good thing if they had a manager that actually knew how to run things properly. They wouldn’t prioritize in store orders over people who ordered ahead of time. I shouldn’t have a paid for order and watch people who just came into the store get their food before me then I get told by the manager Actually it takes 20 minutes to make one sandwich while you’ve been waiting there longer. if you work at the hospital and you need something quick, don’t get it from here go to the other subway. The sad part is it wasn’t a specialty order just a plain sandwich how it is. get better management three people shouldn’t be standing in the same spot when you can allocate the work better
They are very very very nasty , my whole order was wrong and they are refusing to give me a refund due to the fact that it is the next day if I didn’t get my sandwich wrong I wouldn’t be asking for my refund . So I suggest if you come to this location to not do delivery go in person because BOTH my sandwiches were horrible . Worse place will not be returning . How do you refuse to give someone back there refund because it’s the next day ? Very nasty people Hope they close this place down honestly .

I was placing a pick up order, but knew from experience that I needed to place it while I was in the store so that I can watch them make my sandwich because, they always skimp on ingredients, even when you ask them to add extra in the app. Just as I suspected as I was watching him make my sandwich, he skimmed
on many ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, etc. when I asked for more and let him know that I ordered extra he proceeded to tell me that what he was providing was already extra. In addition to that he was leaving out ingredients that were clearly on the receipt and when I was asking for them, he was referring back to the receipt like if I was trying to add things that weren’t in my original order or like it even mattered because… It’s Subway.

To the subway staff and employees, How do you guys missed the combo part about my order? So no chip, no beverage. But I received the additional item I ordered which I was confused about. Then I call to let you know that I am missing what I payed for, the only accommodation that was given was that I come pick up the rest of my order. . . And I'm on a half hour lunch break... Bad service. Will not be ordering from this location or restaurant again.

Excellent Subway. Ordered the sandwiches online using the FLBOGO discount. No fuzz whatsoever. Tasty sandwiches and prepared in my favorite way. Friendly staff. Just a smaller place with not many seats and no restroom. M1 bus stop right in front.

Without question I was intentionally overcharged for my breakfast sandwich. Then when I went to get a refund 2 un-housed people from the street came and asked for money. The sandwich was ok, the standard Subway fare, but being unquestionably, intentionally overcharged left a bad taste in my mouth, I will never return

NURU is only one guy reliable in this store because Mexican guy doesn't treat costumers equally. I go to this store almost everyday and that is what I have noticed. Costumers love NURU so much.
