If a customer saw cockroaches in this restaurant, they should call the health department to come and inspect. I've never had the pleasure of dining here but based on their impeccable take-out service, I have no doubt their dining service is top notch. The food is always ready when I arrive. The restaurant offers an abundance of outdoor seating, and the interior is nicely dim, with most of the light projecting from the windows. When I'm close by, I love a Three Maki Roll Combo special. You can't beat the price, especially not in UES (only $14). This time for my partner, he chose Shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and mango shrimp roll. Sadly, the rolls were devoured before I could remember to take a picture. If you want a quick bite, please try this place out!

We blundered into this small UES Japanese restaurant. The vibe is relaxed. We really enjoyed the jazz being played over the music system. Service was prompt and cordial. Hot sake did the trick on a cold night. The food was very good and quite reasonably priced. I had the sushi deluxe and a seaweed salad. My wife enjoyed her bento box and was unable to finish it. We're putting this place into the rotation for a low key meal.

i got horrible food poisoning after eating the sushi here. i've eaten plenty of sushi before and never gotten sick from it but this was awful. do yourself a favor, don't risk it and go somewhere else instead.

While inside looked cosy, I chose to sit outside in the filtered winter sun. Menu is extensive even though i really only wanted sashimi. The food was exceptional, very generous portions and beautifully presented. Service was very sincere and warm. The wine list by the glass is very limited but the sake range looked great. I eas craving sashimi and they certainly didn't disappoint!!
