My friend and I picked this place because it was close and we were drawn to prices. The food was 5 stars. I got the biang biang noodles and she got the stewed pork over rice. I liked how thick the noodles were and it got more and more tasty as I got closer to the bottom because all the sauce was really concentrated. My friend enjoyed her simple yet comforting pork. She says it was very hearty and the soft boiled egg was the best part of the meal. The service was also very good. I overheard the Johnson at the counter taking time to chat with his customers. I could see him leading his team and hustling to serve each bowl of noodles. The atmosphere was clean and simple. I’d definitely go back again!

I visit at least once a week now basically since they opened. Burning noodles are delicious, can’t go wrong with the dumplings and the menu seems to be expanding. My partner normally gets the soups and ends up using the extra broth to make a second meal. The owner goes above & beyond being friendly. They always seem to toss me extra chili oil or dumpling sauce when in need. So nice to have them on the UES!

Love this place! The food is always fresh and the service is fast. My go-to order is the Hot Spicy Beef Soup, Burning Noodles, and dumplings (Fried or Steamed are both fantastic, can’t go wrong!). Bonus points for the owner being so incredibly friendly!!

I recently discovered this place by my hospital when I was craving beef noodle soup and fell in love with it. Really hit the spot since there isn't much asian food around this neighborhood, or I just haven't come across them yet. The guy at front (not sure his name) is very welcoming and nice ?? Highly recommend this place! Really satisfied my cravings every time ☺️

Heard rave reviews about this location so decided to try it on a Saturday night when I was nearby. I bought steamed pork dumplings and scallion oil dry noodles. The dumplings were delicious and I would 100% come back for them! Unfortunately the noodles had no taste at all (despite having a nice color) and I did not finish them.

Tried their biang biang noodle with beef for $13.95, I would not recommend. The noodle itself was not “biang-ing” at all, the texture was more like overcooked pasta, the flavor was lacking and the sauce was starchy. I had to constantly add their side chilli oil and vinegar to add flavor and make it taste better to finish this bowl. Beef quality was on the fatty side, hard and chewy, not much flavor either, and beef were in minced style and little in the bowl.
Came here for a quick bite after seeing the high reviews on Google, and yet Google reviewers failed me once again.

We ordered beef noodle soup and it was incredible! The noodles were chewy, just how
I like it, the beef pieces were generous, tyht broth was so flavorful and their chili oil was spot on!

The food is amazing. I've been back now a few times, and it's very consistent in terms of quality and service. My new 'go to' place.
I’ve been here a few times and it’s always fantastic! You’ll find it parallel to any momofuku on flavor and service. It’s also very reasonable. Easily my fav dumplings in the city now. Love the pork and chive dumplings and the pork house bao buns are delicious.

No notes - took me back to my years living in Taipei & HK. Very reasonably priced too for the areas.

Amazing, wonderful, beautiful, outstanding. I have not stopped thinking about these noodles since I’ve put them in my mouth.
I got some kind of spicy noodle with no broth, and boyfriend got dan dan noodles I think. We also got the dumplings as an appetizer. Everything was OUTSTANDING.
We came around 8:00 on a weekday after a huge rush, and they still were able to put love into their food and get it out in a timely manner. The guy at the front was awesome and a great people person.
They also had some really delicious beverages! I’d recommend to anybody I love. This place was amazing.

I live close by and love coming here for takeout. My favorites are the shallot oil noodles & the chicken carrot dumplings. Everything reminds me of the food my Chinese mom cooked for me growing up, but better. Also as someone with a sensitive stomach who has to mostly eat homemade food, I’m guessing they use high quality ingredients as I always feel great after eating here. Also prices are super reasonable for NYC.
