We made a reservation for 9:00 PM and arrived on time, only to be told that the kitchen had already closed. It is completely unacceptable to accept a reservation for a time when guests cannot actually order dinner. Had we been informed in advance, we would have made other plans.

What made the experience even more disappointing was the response from the staff. The server was unhelpful, showed no empathy for the situation, and did not offer any apology or attempt to find a solution. There was no acknowledgment that the restaurant had inconvenienced us after we had specifically reserved a table.

We chose this restaurant expecting a pleasant dining experience, but instead we wasted our time showing up for a reservation that the restaurant was apparently unable or unwilling to honor. Poor communication and poor customer service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend it.

This is by far the best French food I've had in this price range, even (frustratingly) better than more expensive or well known French restaurants around.

The menu is relatively small, but they execute each dish very well. The duck dishes and steak frites were done as I think all French restaurants ought to do, and the salads, pate, and dessert were memorably good too.

At the time, I had hoped they had a larger wine selection, but it looks like they've an updated menu with exactly that.

Beautiful place with an elegant atmosphere. The live music added a lot of soul to the experience and the pianist Maria Kaushansky is a gem. Also the food was delish so I will definitely be going again.

Manger is extremely rude, refused to cancel my reservation despite out of town travel delays and charged me $80. I had to cancel through filing a complaint with OpenTable and was still charged. Don’t book here.

I hosted a large family dinner (~20 people) here after my baby shower and could not have had a better experience. Sakis was a dream to work with - so communicative and responsive, involved in every detail, and committed to making our event low-stress and beautiful. The food was phenomenal - our families loved it and can't wait to go back. I have been back many times since our large dinner and continue to be impressed with how declicious the food is and how the service is dedicated to making us feel at home. Will be a repeat reservation for me for life!!!

The food was delicious, my duck perfectly cooked. But it was the wonderful and attentive service by Oliver and Bernadette that brought our dinner to another level. Friendly but not overly chatty, attentive but not intrusive, it was a lovely dinner.

We came for dinner on Thursday night . Not busy Service was very good - the 2 servers were pleasant and attentive. Food is good not over salted and over buttered like most restaurants. We enjoyed the bouillabaisse in a light broth - there were no fish and not tomatoes broth. The steak frite presentation was good cooked well however the Bavette steak could be more tender - dessert was good as a French shop should be -

One of the most memorable meals I can think - including the best duck confit that I can recall outside of Paris. Wonderful attentive service and all food amazing. We will certainly be back!

What else is there to say - this place is super satisfying. Fun and cozy atmosphere, friendly attentive service, and extremely comforting delicious French bistro classics.

The food is outstanding as is the service. It's a lovely, cozy restaurant by night, and a casual cafe by day, and it is wonderful in both modes.
