Great vibe, a little on the noisy side, but it fits the overall hustle and bustle of this neighborhood, especially on a weekend night. The service staff was attentive and helpful. The food is decent. I ordered pasta rosa, which was flavorful, but it was not cooked well, it was gooey. I'm assuming it was precooked and sauteed when ordered. As an Italian, it did not meet my standards at all.

Great service, decent atmosphere, but the flavor on the dishes were quite underwhelming. Had the Pappadelle and the Insalata. The salad was quite good with the apple and fennel adding a nice balance to the greens. But something just didn't feel right about the Pappadelle. Had a bit of a smokey flavor (almost burnt - the dish wasn't burnt but the flavor felt that way) and the texture was probably a bit chewy than one wood expect. I may come here again to grab something quick but it may not be my first preference.

Very disappointed with this place — it was my first and definitely last visit.
My four friends and I just needed one table for a quick meeting. We were planning to order drinks. When we asked the waitress, she offered only seats at the bar. After we declined, she pointed us to a very noisy table. Since we needed to talk, we were ready to leave. As we were walking out, she called out from a distance to say another table was now available — we stayed, as it was the only free option in the West Village area.
We ordered a few drinks, but the staff kept pushing us to order more — they even suggested a cheese plate, which we agreed to just to be polite. Throughout our time there, they continued asking if we wanted anything else, making us feel uncomfortable and rushed.
As soon as we finished our drinks and cheese plate, they cleared the table immediately. We hadn’t even asked for the check, but they brought it and placed it on the table without a word.
The place is overpriced and the service was far from welcoming. I can’t believe I had such an experience at a spot in one of the busiest and most popular areas of the city.
P.S. About 70% of the tables were actually available the whole time — so the attitude was even more confusing.
