This place has terrible customer service. Their employees are extremely uncaring, prejudice, and unhelpful. The sushi and atmosphere isn't that good to put up with the terrible experience of dealing with this restaurant and its staff. NYC is full of amazing sushi places and this is not one of them! I highly recommend you take your money and time to somewhere more deserving! Do not waste your time or money on this place cause I promise you it is not worth it.

We had $100 omakase. It’s very well worth with very single dollar that you paid!!
Starting with 2 appetizers, following with 15 pieces of nigiri and ending with 1 handroll.
Each bite has their own unique flavor with different garnishes and sauces.
We also got big max; wagyu with otoro uni and kizami wasabi on top, and cheese burger; Japanese cheesecake with seared otoro uni and caviar. These 2 bites is amazing, melting in your mouth.
Omakase is served at sushi bar. It’s quite busy most of the time. I highly recommend you to make reservations in advance. They are also offering a la carte at the regular table.
Parking: Taking a train or Uber is the best way to get there.
Kid-friendliness: If your kids love raw fishes, it will be their heaven. If not, it doesn’t have much cooked options offering.

Absolutely loved my experience here! Our chef Gary definitely made each of our pieces with so much love ?.. my favorite was the caviar sushi, it was so yummy! And our waiter Ze was so friendly too, he always made sure to check up on us and ask us our opinion on everything. Never had omakase before and I’m so happy to have gone here for my first time!

Really impressive execution and service. My solo reservation was at 7:30pm on a Friday night, and no one skipped a beat. Highly recommend “going for” the larger $100 omakase and ordering one of their specials they’ll share at the end. Jeff was incredibly warm and talented. Bibi(?) was a delightful host. Loved the vibe and will definitely return!
We had an amazing dinner at Sushi by M. The staff was extremely hospitable and interactive the whole time. Chef Tim is so attentive to all the diners and makes sure you're enjoying yourself. He personally checked in with us multiple times. My husband and I will definitely be back.

The sushi quality is so nice! I love the seared anko & aji, that is so creative that I don't eat it anywhere else. The other sushi is very sweet and fresh too. You can see the chef Tim is very passionate about his food. That makes us appreciate the food even more. The service is nice too, they often check how we are doing. The deco & vibe is more on the casual side but the chef make the atmosphere fun!
