Food was very very good. Went there for my father's birthday. Everyone enjoyed. They prepped desert for my dad's bday. Service was great. Only positive things to say.

Incredibly fresh sushi and gyoza. Sat at the sushi bar and watched them prepare orders. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good happy hour prices as well.

I love this place. I had been eating there for over 20 years and I still think it's the best in the neighborhood. And there's always a warm welcome me!!

We had not been in several years but we're excited to return..what a terrible disappointment . What used to be an incredible sushi restaurant is now terrible. Worse we have ever had anywhere. Inside the potstickers still frozen pork. Soft shell crab used to be beautiful panko crusted and now a thick uneatable fried dough tempura coating!!! The seared tuna was cooked too much ..not seared but some pieces totally cooked thru. Raman soup ..noodles hard and not cooked !! Do not waste your money.

Great quality sushi. A cut above the usual for fair prices. Portions are nice too. Udon also quite delicious and generous. Will return soon. Only quibble is with the annoying music, not in keeping with the pleasant Japanese decor.

Consistently good. Great menu, service is attentive, and food is is top notch. Quiet setting on a busy street.

The quality of the fish was extremely poor. Very bad value for money - will not go or order from here again.

Sushi Damo is hands down one of my favorite spots for sushi. The veggie gyoza dumplings are absolutely amazing — crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside. My go-to rolls are the Spicy Toro Jalapeño, Sakura, and Thunder Roll — each one is fresh, flavorful, and uniquely delicious. I always top it off with their mango lemonade soda, which is super refreshing and the perfect way to end the meal.

The service is consistently warm and attentive, and the ambience is modern, clean, and welcoming — great for both a casual dinner or a night out. Highly recommend!

Lovely Japanese restaurant for lunch. Great sushi rolls. Wonderful service in relaxed atmosphere. Menu has more offerings. Next time I’ll order chicken yakisoba. Great neighborhood spot at Columbus Circle. Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We each paid $40 for edamame and two very small rolls which were (far) inferior to grocery store sushi.

Great meal— quality sushi at reasonable price for NYC. Only problem is that they don't currently serve alcohol, so no sake!

I ordered a Tantamen Ramen and its so delicious! The hot sesame oil is just right.
And the Lime Mojito is so refreshing.
