Always a wonderful experience. With friendly staff and a delicious menu in a wide variety of Japanese offerings, Sushi of Gari is a cozy quiet comfortable dining experience with incredible food that goes above and beyond to satisfy.
Has not lost even a fraction of a step since the last time. Every morsel is completely on point and delicious. If you can afford it go for the Omakase but even the traditional sushi/sashimi or chirashi plates are amazing. Note that they run a world class saki program so they can be quite pricy.
Small sushi restaurant in the Upper East Side that serves high quality Japanese food. Besides sushi and sashimi, they have a good variety of appetizers and entrees from their kitchen on the menu. We were a party of 4 for dinner and ordered the pork gyoza, tempura and yuzu tsukune for appetizers. For entrees we ordered a sashimi dinner, a sushi dinner, 2 sushi deluxe and complemented with a la carte orders of uni and ikura sushi. Everything was delicious. We left the restaurant...
