For the price yes, for the food and quality NO, the wasabi in the sushi came in sudden, the rice was loose

Absolutely loved our experience yesterday. The basic omakase was delicious at $38, no hidden charges, and staff were lovely. Only slightly minor quibble was everything seemed a bit rushed and a little less peaceful than other places I've been to, but fair enough at that price. I was also a bit surprised at the rudeness of a customer talking on her phone when the staff were trying to engage her. That's not the restaurant's fault but maybe worth having a sign about using phones less and being in the moment more?!

Sushi W offers a fantastic omakase experience that delivers exceptional quality without straining your budget. Opting for the Premium Omakase menu for dinner, I found that each piece of nigiri was meticulously crafted with care and precision. The freshness of the ingredients and the high standard of preparation were evident in every bite.

While the dining experience lasts only around 50 minutes, which might feel a bit rushed for a romantic date or a leisurely family gathering, it’s perfectly suited for solo diners or those seeking a focused and efficient omakase experience. Despite the time constraint, the meal itself is truly impressive—thoughtfully prepared and well worth a visit. Sushi W proves that high-quality sushi can be accessible without compromise.

I try to eat at Sushi W every time I’m in the city. The Omakase is excellent and for the price you can’t beat it. Always fresh and delicious with great service and atmosphere. They do not allow you to tip as well which is crazy because they do such a tremendous job that they should be tipped. Mos def need to check it out if you like low-key setting and delectable sushi.

Been here twice and it’s great, good sized prices, well paced and staff are super friendly.

Edit: I still like this place, esp the west side location over the east side as the east side location feels a little cold. However I will say the pieces are on the smaller side. No premium pieces as well like uni or waygu.

The omikase was delicious. I had the lunch special and I think it was well worth the approx $40 a person. Don't forget to make a reservation here before you go because it did get full quickly. My only request would be to have better songs. Maybe some city pop.

Also my favorite dish was the Arctic char.
