Great pizza! Like all pizza, the hotter the better. Sal & his father, & soon his brother Carmine, started at 95th St & Broadway, I believe in the early 1960's. This is the 7th decade! Sal loved the pure deliciousness of a cheese pizza, buffalo moz #1. But, the sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, mushroom, garlic, Sicilian or Napolitano, etc. are great. I ordered a margarita pie. I thought that the sauce was a bit too sweet and there wasn’t enough cheese, but overall it was quick service (definitely quicker than the place across the street) and the pizza had a good crisp.
