I'm very sad to say that after many years open, Sushi West has unfortunately closed down shop (read: out of business) as of 6/30/2020 due to Covid-19 closure and resulting loss of income. Thank you for all your years making great food and we will miss you.

My go to local sushi spot. Everyone is very nice and the sushi is great. I go here all the time.

This spot is worth a try. They have large portions for convenient rates. Constantly clean and with fantastic vibes. Will come back again.

Really a fantastic sushi place! Neighborhood spot that is completely underrated. Fresh quality fish, great atmosphere, great price, and the super friendly staff. My favorite rolls are the spicy tuna crunch and sunshine. Highly recommend it.

What an awful meal. I ordered shrimp tempura(gross shrimp tasted cheap and not fresh) , beige tempura just bad and old quality meat. 3 diff fish rolls, all of which were just mushy, warm, absolutely terrible qualities of fish and vegetables. The salad was wilted. Chicken skewers tasted like mall samples. Spent $100 on some trash.

Very decent sushi place in the area - and the only one we saw. Fresh and tasty rolls and sushi.

Nice and quiet place to dine on a Sunday night. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. Had to Udon with tempura veggies which was a ton of food. $5 rolls

Quiet, intimate and casual, this unassuming non-touristy little spot is perfect for your sushi fix. This place hasn't changed in the almost 20 years since I've been coming here, and that is saying a lot considering the drastic upscale makeover the Far West Village has experienced. Gracious efficient service as well.

Great value for the money. This is a neighborhood sushi restaurant which has had the same furniture for decades. That is not why you come here. It's for decent size good sushi at a reasonable price.
