Sashimi is fresh and food is great. Service is good. They are one of few ‘Japanese' restaurant that still provides hot tea as standard service. If you don't order sake, how could you eat sashimi with ice cold water? That's not what a Japanese restaurant is.
Been going to this place for years, a few times a month. It’s my go-to spot for sushi. I always order the omakase, but it’s the same thing each time - so not very omakase. The service is quick and efficient, though the place is a bit rundown. They’re opening a new location, which I hope will be a bit cleaner. Overall, decent prices for good sushi.

Great bang for the buck. Super crispy fried gyoza and a vegetable roll were perfect for a quick early dinner before the opera. My friend really liked her eel sushi. Great service
This is a very nice spot. I ate at lunch there. Very easy to book through their online Booking system. I ate directly at the bar. The nigiris were super fresh. Super tasty salmon, tasty tuna. The Terikaki chicken was delicious, so were the tempuras. They have a really nice lunch formula.
Really awesome !

The sushi quality was extremely poor and the flavors were disappointing. There was something that looked like a hair in my salad, and they didn’t even offer an apology. They replaced it, but the whole experience felt unpleasant. I honestly don’t understand why this place is so crowded. I won’t be coming back.

Always one of my favorite sushi spots. This place always punches well above its weight, providing some of the freshest and tastiest sushi for its price point. This makes it one of the best value in the city, with quality that rivals some of the better known and fancier sushi spots in the city.
Amazing sushi and sashimi at a very fair price. The restaurant is a convenient neighborhood spot, close to Lincoln Center. Service was prompt and pleasant.
Sushi is fresh and affordable. Go to option in the neighborhood
The mini omakase and steak were healthy, delicious, and indulgent at the same time 🤩. I highly recommend! It was somewhat packed on a weeknight. I recommend a reservation. The service was great. I liked our table.

excellent value sushi in a comfortable neighborhood setting. It's especially good when you want something more elevated than a basic roll place, but without the extremely high cost or formality of luxury omakase.
The fish quality at Yasaka is consistently excellent. You can always count on them for fresh sushi. The restaurant is always lively, and their lunch specials are a great deal.
The preorder/order pickup website is also easy to use!
Cash is required for in person orders under $10.
Very good place to have good food here.

If you want sushi just meet you protein goals for an average price go here. They cut thick slices. But I wasn’t impressed and I don’t know about how fresh the fish is. Nothing special but I wouldn’t send anyone here
