It’s an okay cocktail bar. You don’t need to dress up. There were plenty of people who were not dressed up. Staff were nice enough. I had their version of a dirty martini and it’s good. The cheese plate was good too. It’s out of the way and not worth the venture.

The service is very rude and aggressive. We only ordered dessert which was decent, and the atmosphere has so much potential if it wasn’t for the hostess at the front door. She was wearing a red shirt with jeans and a low bun and she was very aggressive and rude. She was the hostess on the night of september 2nd for reference. I went through a different entrance from the back door, so there wasn’t any host when I came in. Therefore, I went in to check for the hostess. When I found the other entrance, I asked if we could have menus and seating. She started questioning how I came in and could be much more gentle and professional. Such a lack of professionalism, it’s a shame. Truly.

1 star because the location is so pretty, but the staff is really rude and make you feel really bad. My friend had her birthday and I can’t believe the way they were with us. You can’t take any picture or the staff yell on you. They ask you a fee if you are more than 6 at a table. How can you act like a Michelin star restaurant when you are just a regular bar? Ridiculous. I won’t recommend this place, you can find so much better in the city!

I initially made a reservation for 7 PM, but something came up, and I needed to change it to 8 PM. When I tried to update it on Resy, I was only given the option to call the Swan Room. I called over 10 times, but the phone number didn’t work. Since they have a no-show fee of $50 per person, I had no choice but to take a cab to the Swan Room just to change the reservation. Yes, you read that correctly! I had to go in person to avoid being charged $100.
When I arrived, the hostess was incredibly condescending, telling me, “Well, I don’t have a phone here.” I wanted to cancel the reservation entirely but would still have been charged $100. So, if you’re planning to make a reservation here, be absolutely sure nothing changes in your plans because there’s no way to modify your booking unless you show up in person—or you’ll be charged $50 per guest.
It’s utterly ridiculous. If you’re considering this place for its aesthetics, I can make a list with plenty of more stunning spots in NYC. The drinks were just okay and definitely not worth the hassle or the poor experience.

Didn’t t get to go in. Arrived at 8pm, was told 30 mins wait. Came back 30 mins later, was told it would be an hour, they squeezed in hotel guests. Waited another 30 mins and received text, came back 15 mins after receiving the text. Was told they gave the table away as it passed 10 mins holding period. New wait time is another 30 mins. Horrible attitude.

Very attractive interior with solid martinis. However they only allow seating up to 1.5 hours , and are not super accommodating if you want to add an extra person. Other than that, it's a decent bar
